It's pretty obvious that this team will have the distinction of being Barnes' first to stay home come tourney time and most likely the first with a losing record. Will Deloss axe him to satiate those calling for Mack's head as well? Time will tell my fellow Longhorns.
Barnes has to feel comfortable about his stability next year to bench Sheldon like he did. Even when J'covan and barnes were getting into it early last year, barnes knew he couldn't sit him for the rest of the game. Of course I missed the play where sheldon got benched, must have been terrible.
Team's only chance to make tourney is to get hot when Myck gets back and win the conference tourney. Just too young. Too many turnovers, not valuing the ball enough on offense. Promising future with good players that can become a great team, but this year is a definite long shot at making the dance.
Yup. Staring an 0-5 start to Big 12 play in the face with Kansas and a trip to Norman coming up.
Texas men's athletics is just an utter and compete dumpster fire. This is a disgrace.
Do people realize this is the "brand" university in arguably the greatest recruiting state in the nation? How in the sam hill do you screw this up?? It seems you would have to work at it, to screw up Texas Longhorn athletics.
The folly of this regime should be glaringly apparent to all. This is Texas. It can only be compromised by incompetence.
More losing and benching players the walls are going to close on Barnes this affects recruiting as well (Randle). I think there will be a major change if team has losing record.
I see 5-13/6-12 in Big 12 play - at this point.
