Where is that to DC?
As Gerry mentioned, water is going over the battery in NYC and parts of Manhattan are now flooding as the surge is over 13 feet with high tide. A lot of damage reports already coming in to news outlets with numerous transformers blowing and parts of buildings damaged.

I've been sitting in my condo in DC all day. Pretty crazy rain and wind. Everyone in Northern VA is without power.
Geez. That is a bad spot.
Battery/Brooklyn tunnel flooding. Not good for NYC/Manhattan,etc...
Fox has some ridiculous footage right now. Dude can't even stand up it's blowing so hard.

My brother and sister-in-law picked a bad week to go to NYC. Stuck.

Lower east side
New Jersey and that's a shark
Manhattan in the dark
New York and another shark.
Photoshopped. A photo like that shows up during every hurricane.
That's good news for New Jerseyans
They said on the weather channel four million customers without electricity. Living on the gulf coast I have a whole house generator. Came in handy during Rita and Ike. Not sure how many folks have those up there. They said it could take some time to get electricity back on.
Headlights are on. Hopefully they got it.
