Writing an article on him ...
Wondering if anybody (without looking it up) could guess how many yards he was on pace to gain last season prior to his turf toe injury against Kansas.

9 and 4 at Texas sucks!
- Jeff Howe
Where would that number have ranked on Texas' single-season rushing yards for freshmen?
I'll say about 1200 and #1
IIRC correctly it was around 1000. Don't remeber the exact number. Would've been a number to what Ced put up his freshman yeae
I think Ced Benson is No. 1 with just over 1K (1,054 maybe) if we're talking about the UT freshman record.

What's the prize?

He had a lot of double digit rushing totals to begin the season. My first guess was under 1K.
I think it is very funny how most UT fans (especially on the message boards I read) seem to be downplaying MB, while the national media seems to be all over him. I don't think I've seen a situation where national media members have a player as a 1st team all conference, potential Heisman contender, yet the team's own fans consider him a potential third option.
Very strange. I think he will be somewhere in the middle. And that will be just fine with me.
1176 yards, #2?
I won't down play him, I just think Bergeron was drastically underrated coming out of high school.
and number 2
275-0 scoring margin
Dana X Bible's National Championship team
FYI, the answers will be revealed in Alan's profile of MB1 which will be out in about an hour.
1075 and #1 on the list??
over 10,000 yds
Those are Johnathan Gray numbers!
I saw some comments on twitter this morning from Adam Kramer (Kegs & Eggs Blog) and Covers.com about Malcolm being a good longshot Heisman pick at 75 to 1. Definitely interesting that the national media looks at Texas as being a Malcolm Brown backfield whereas those who follow the program closely realize that we'll have a minimum of 3 guys sharing the load.
1179 yards and #1
You looked, LOL. I just did the numbers too.
Glad there folks on this board who make me accountable for embarrassing typos and general debauchery of the typed word.
I have absolutely positively no idea what you're talking about. None whatsoever. Zilch. Nada.
Wow. Missed the yards by 3 and the place by 1. Where's my cookie?
The 1179 failed to take in the Swinney chaos factors, which are included in my 1254.765
