Thanks for the article. I wish someone would discuss the big 12 and how each school fares this year. Kansas may have a better bottom line off the bowl games than The University.

Dana X Bible's National Championship team
All the more reason to go to a higher seed host playoff format with all conference champs getting in. The trips would be nothing more than the usually home and away game on Saturday and the schools get all the money.
There is nothing more dangerous in this world than a man with nothing to lose.
I remember the nightmare for UConn when they couldn't give away tickets let alone sell them.\
I am impressed by the MACs willingness to step up and set aside the $4million for NIU to help balance their budget. Their commish gets it understanding the conference benefited by NIUs invite. Pretty cool on their part.
Yep, it's so crazy the Presidents and ADs don't see this. They are literally giving away 10-20 million if you are a Top 2 seed.
The problem I believe is that the better teams are outvoted by the Kansas 's of football. There are usually more teams in a conference who do not go bowling than do.
Multiple brackets would fix it. The Bowls have run their course. College football should get rid of them.
Too logical. The good old boy network wants the bowls to continue. Only the mighty dollar of TV revenue can change that.

FIFY - TV money has shown to be more lucrative and yet still no change.
