The excuse for the lack of commits from the top guys has been primed.
I hope we are about to be as good as he thinks we are.
Really like what we're hearing on Ridgeway and Cottrell.
Is he directly connected with the ACT/SAT graders?
I guess he's feeling confident about Kinner
anyone have Kinner's highlights handy?
Really excited to see Larry Porter turned loose on Houston. Very hopeful
Glad Santos lost some weight, Edmond also needs to lose some as mentioned.
good film. seems shifty
Glad to see santos trimmed down. If edmonds doesnt step it up, santos will take him...
"Edmond needs to lose some weight"
That's awesome... we know Mack is pushing Edmond with the comment about Santos losing weight and Edmond needing too.
I'm excited to have Porter on the staff (assuming he is legit and not going to get us in any trouble with his tactics)... we'll leave the cheating to SEC scumbags
Hater...this is the same pitch that Mack has done for years. There's a lot to complain about with Mack, but this isni't one of them. He's turned kids away before and told them to wait til their positive.
Let's wait and see how 2014 recruiting pans out before dumping on Mack.
When was Vince maligned? I know people had questions about Colt
"Off season take it up at notch?".................Mack said yesterday how great he off season was going now! BTW does anybody think we are going to get anything more out of Jeff Madden than we've received for the past 15 years? The offseason is the S&C staff responsibility...........
"Leadership is wisdom, courage and great carelessness of self"
He looks like he has the tools to be really good, instinct, vision, no hesitation making cuts, and looks to get up field instead of dancing. This video is as good as any I have seen this year from a Texas hs kid

Don't be afraid to ride the lightning.
Were you not around in 2003-2004? Coming in, people were pumped that he signed. Despite being able to make big plays with his feet his first year and a half, there was a vocal contingent of fans that wanted to move him to WR because he couldn't throw for squat. The pinnacle of that screaming occurred after the Missouri game once he was knocked out following a 3-9 for 19 yards and 2 interception performance in the first half.
God, I remember when OU steam-rolled us with Vince. The entire fanbase wanted to move him to WR or TE.
I just remember Colt having pressure due to Snead be the higher ranked QB. I was actually pulling for Jevan myself, but Colt proved a lot of folks wrong with his heart and play.
Yes please! I'll have one of those...
Vince was the #1 player in the country when he signed. If anybody had concerns about VY it was Mack.......so I was around then and also 03 -04
Colt's turnover fest of 2007 had a lot of people wondering if he was the answer as well....
That characterization about VY after OU is untrue. He was the only thing Texas had in that game.
You're going on the ignore list now Bobby
Yup. The negative talk around VY reached its peak after the '04 shutout against OU, and close home victory against Mizzou. The next week, he shut everyone up with a dominating performance in Lubbock and never lost another game.
You are right, the 2003 blowout was one that helped Vince become the starter over Mock. Any VY highlight video has great runs from that game that, unfortunately they also reflect the score from the game.
Give it a rest.
