When Bob Bowlsby took over as the Big 12 commissioner last week he said that while he won't presume the direction that the Big 12 is going to go as far as expansion, if expansion helps the Big 12 advance its agenda the conference would "at least consider that."
Well, if Louisville gets its way, the Big 12 may be expanding again in the future.
Louisville AD Tom Jurich has informed the conference that Louisville would like to join the Big 12 or the ACC, according to a report.

Boise State might be reconsidering move to Big East
Boise State is supposed to join the Big East on July 1, but might be having second thoughts. Brett McMurphy says uncertain futures facing the WAC (home of its non-football sports) and the Big East are factors.
ENGLISH, MFer! Can type you it in title thread just once?!
And so it begins...again.
Looks like someone shook up a bunch of words.
copy/paste is harder than you think
You would think Louisville to the ACC would push Clemson and FSU out as it looks more and more that it is turning into a basketball conference.
It's called "leading story" @@
Worst thread title ever.
Story don't title I would if understanding Big 12 to expansion. Seriously.
Excuse me stewardist, I speak jive.
I don't think Louisville is going to the ACC. I think this is what the school had to do to make it look like they hadn't been talking to the Big 12.
I could be wrong, but I think A&M made a similar statement even though everyone knew they were going to the SEC.
Louisville belongs in the ACC. It's a basketball school.
I'd hate to see them in the Big 12 which I consider a predominately football conference.
Stewardist? This is a winning thread.
Why would upgrading the quality of bball in conference be an issue. Particularly since Louisville BBall generates more coin than many football schools. Their FB is ok as are their other sports including olympic sports. I wouldn't do it as the only school but along with an FSU it wouldn't be terrible.
There is a bunch of irony fail in it.

I've read this thread at least three times. Yet I still get confused when I see the thread title on the main page.
I'm just not a big fan of adding Louisville to the Big XII. FSU, hellz yeah. Clemson/Miami/VT, come on down. I suppose adding UL would definitely add to the basketball cred of the conference (especially in conjunction with a couple of those other schools). But UL just feels meh to me.
