He might be right but I tend to look at Miles as a blowhard. He likes to talk.
Even Les says something intelligent on occasion.
Pegging aggy as the new SEC butt plug doesn't require much intelligence. (Oh shit, did I just say that out loud?)
Do the aggs not play Arky at Jerry world anymore? I thought that wouldn't change w/ the SEC move. You know kind of like two major football powers who are conference foes playing each other annually on a neutral site (can I get an amen for Longhorn envy!)
Hell it happened more than once so I thought it was a "Tradition"!
Nice to know we are still regarded as their Best Chance for a Rivalry. They need to go make their new rivalries. I won't miss them. They will not make any rivals until they beat someone of consequence a few times, become relevant on their own, and people start seeing them for who they are. LSU and Arkansas knows them the best. Those will be their best chance for rivalries.
Arkansas has the closest type of fans and culture and have a longer, more consistent history vs A&M. Playing in the time warps of Fayetteville and Collieville will bring out the "best" in both of them. Jerry World has not really given them the rivalry feel. Both programs will have new coaches this year and should make it interesting.
LSU just has more fans in the Houston and Dallas areas than Arkansas and that is their hope for a rivalry...again, TAMU has to beat them and become relevant.
Aggies got tooled with South Carolina while Missouri got exactly what they wanted for a forced rivalry game. Does South Carolina still get to play Clemson every year...I would think so, and that will be a bigger rivalry for them. I am sure Spurrier will spank the Aggs and then have some backhanded nice things to say.
With the South Carolina Gamecocks as their rival, the aggys can saw them "cocks" off every year.

I hadn't considered that one of the great treats of Aggie's departure is that they're now in the same conference as the Hat.
Talk about Dumb and Dumber.
The latest I heard was that they go home and home for two years and then back to Jerry World.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time.
Did you actually call the aggies a football power?
I want to see the ags put that on a window sticker some time lol.
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants".
"Miles might be on to something. Since 2009, the Aggies are 0-5 against SEC opponents, and 0-7 if you include two losses to then-Big 12 foe Missouri."
I think The Hat is saying...the aggies just aren't SEC-good
Looking at that schedule, I struggle to find 5 wins for those Farmers.
Are you counting the Gameday voting they will win. You can't forget that
True "27-25"! I didn't count that. So, that makes 6. Too bad they can only count one FBS win and zero Gameday wins against their bowl eligibility!! POOOOOOOOR aggieeeeeeeeees!!
Aggies will love Les Miles being in their conference. He eats grass and is full of $hit. Just their style.
