What bout the other Kids from Katy???
can we bring in an advisor to help offseason with the linebackers or is that against the rules?
Bobby, with that said, Charmin or Northern?
DB in general - truly great class in terms of difference maker talent and depth. S is pretty much off the charts for one class.
Not on the level as past classes - OL
Defensive back, linebacker and defensive end are really good. Doesn't look like a deep year at OL or DT.
Then Texas should go OOS for OL?
hurt feelings? I guess the questions are, 1. how is diaz as a teacher of lbs?. Are the lbs slow to catch on to what is being taught? Is it mainly the scheme and no amount of teaching and learning going to help.
By not taking a DE in the 2013 class, the pressure is on for 2014. Right now, which recruit is most likely to be a future horn?
You're allowed a certain number of coaches on staff. I think it goes back to a little bit of what Bobby said that you'll just have to hope with another year in the system and other year of experience things will be better.
Which region would you list now as the most important to control?"
I still believe D/FW is #1. Not a knock on Houston. In Houston, I think west of I-10 is the area as Houston has changed and the schools east of I-10 (save North Shore) aren't producing like 8-10 years ago.
East Texas is always a big one for me. Tough brand of kid, higher ceilings, etc...
I go with Solly Thomas until proven wrong.
What are realistic chances with Braden Smith? I haven't seen a kid with a Texas offer almost "ignore" Texas as much as this kid. The way things have been reported, you wouldn't even think the kid has an offer from us.
what you just didn't say is frightening, but I think I understand your reply.
As of late last week, Texas wasn't receiving much positive feedback from the Smith family. Not saying that can't change, but that is where it's been at since the offer was made.
