I'm about to head out the door and make my way down to the UT campus for today's press conference. Dave and I will be on hand with live coverage, but I wanted to go ahead and get the thread started.
The press conference is available to stream online, but we'll be offering a free link here with live updates for those of you who can't, or don't want to watch the stream.
We'll also have a player availability after Mack meets with the media.
It's going to be a busy day here at Hookem.com.
Mack is here. We're about to get started.
Here we go...
Mack: "Everybody in America is undefeated."
Mack is early
9 and 4 at Texas sucks!
- Jeff Howe
Does Mack look better in person today than he did on TV last season? It seemed like he didn't age too well on the sidelines.
May seem stupid but I was actually concerned for the man last year.
Mack talked to Marquise Goodwin yesterday. He told him to pick himself up because everyone is proud of him. Goodwin said he's going forward and Mack said it sounds like he's in a good spot.
Looks like Goodwin will be back on the 9th or the 10th.
Goodwin will have to go through the 4-day acclamation period when he returns.
Adrian Phillips, Jackson Jeffcoat and Greg Daniels are released from their injuries and will be ready to go full speed.
Quandre Diggs, Bryant Jackson, Miles Onyegbule and Reggie Wilson will be limited.

Mack said David Ash is fine. He'll be working out this week.
Mack: "David is full speed and ready to go."
Camrhon Hughes will be rehabbing his knee this fall. He is not on the 105-man roster and he will not be in meetings or anything. He's out for the season.
Thursday will be the first full team workout in shoulder pads.

There will be no open practices this fall.
Mack said there will be no noticable uniform changes.
"We are who we are," he said. "As long as I'm the head coach here it won't have any drastic changes."
The players designed the practice jerseys and they'll rotate those throughout the year.
That doesn't seem smart. Why not include him on meetings? It can't hurt.
Mack said the program is "so far ahead" from where it was at the Holiday Bowl.
If he's not a part of the 105 he's not allowed to apparently due to NCAA rules.
Staff continuity is good. Mack said everyone is on the same page.
Mack said it sounds like the TCU game will be on Thanksgiving night.
UT players will be allowed to use Twitter and Facebook this season.
Mack: "It's a wonderful thing if it's used right. It's a damaging thing if it's used wrong."
Mack said the staff encouraged him to be on Twitter due to recruiting.
