There's no way to make that stadium look nice. That's the ugliest stadium I've ever been to.
Ahhhh! The classic aggy math when it comes to seats. 12" for everyone. Subway has nothing on Kyle Field.
What Aggie math? Maybe I wasn't clear. The 115k is room for expanded seating later on, not cramming in 115k in a 105k stadium.
I thought the decision to keep the zone was pretty stupid. The game experience at the top of the zone is incredibly bad. You don't feel like a part of the stadium. Why the need to keep something like that and basically build around it? They basically just threw that part of the stadium up with no real plan and it showed. It's bad.
They had a ton of ways to spend the money and they chose a pretty lame one. But based on that, things look pretty good. But they could've done numerous other things with that amount of money. I'd expect to be wowed with that sum. I don't think any aggies are wowed by it.
That's fine if that's your opinion. But you seem to be having a problem keeping up. It's not the same stadium.
Try a different shot.
Yeah, but will it look SEC good? . Seriously, it does look better than what's out there now.
It's going to look even better with several coats of bat feces everyday!
Didn't their last stadium remodel collapse halfway thru construction ?
FWIW, I think that rendering looks good.
Will the bat shit be new bat shit or will the existing bat shit be scraped off, stored and then installed again?
And the reverend said, AMAN.
Ha. Just giving you a hard time.
But do you expect A&M to throw out a $30 million club complex because a couple thousand cheap seats aren't great? Moving them lower and a hundred feet over really doesn't make a difference. Every stadium has crappy seats.
I thought A&M was in alot of debt? What happened to that?
Moving those seats closer to the field will make that place even harder to play in.
There is nothing more dangerous in this world than a man with nothing to lose.
Rumor is they are going to have cages placed along the stadium for the yell leaders to pole dance ala Cowboys Stadium. Then it will really be the toughest place to play in America!
Do you mean the loans the AD took from the university and has since paid back?
Well one, it's no longer 2009.
How long will it take to complete all phases?
Thought the renderings looked nice.
What is the projected cost?

I thought the university had to "forgive" the loan because the athletic dept couldn't repay.
I kinda like the aerial renderings; but, when you start looking at some of the elevations (like the one to far right in your first post) it looks like someone opened a tackle box in the cardboard box that it might come in. I'm a big fan of cool college venues (and, despite its warts, College Station is a good one on game day), so I really hope it doesn't look like that. It'll be an upgrade though.

For the price tag, ATM could've built a brand new stadium. 100 yr decisions shouldn't be tied to an existing structure like that one.
ATM has a unique opportunity to build something almost no other school can match. It has the land and money that no other place can compete with IMO. Sure, what they build will be nice, but they had a chance to build the Taj
Some of you guys sound like petulant brats.
The stadium upgrades look really nice. Props to the Ags if they can pull it off.
