- God Bless Texas
you're being polite
Ok kids whatever you say. I love old guys who act touch on the internet.
Bump for jktphzhxbdbshfhy
The kid was playing wideout and runningback prior to his first start. He didn't take any reps with the one's in the spring. He played with a depleted team of kids UT never wanted amd a bunch of kids nobody has heard of on a team that started the most freshman in the nation. If UT was in that situation Ash wouldn't have produced the same record. And for you orange tints that say he would all I can do is smh at you guys. Boykin was put in a QB nightmare and he played well I expect thisb year he will take a huge step up in his progress cam we say the same about Ash??
Ash was put in a QB nightmare situation by having to start as a true FR after Garrett Gilbert failed & left...Ash was on a team that re-vamped its coaching staff & offensive scheme...Ash had a starting true FR WR & 2 starting true FR RB's...Ash had multiple OL changing positions due to other OL leaving or the new OL coach making changes
So to answer your question...yes, we can say the same, if not more, about Ash because of the significant improvements he made from his true FR year to his true SO year
At this point, I'll take the orange tint glasses you keep referring to, over the obvious, significant blindness you've proven to have

Apparently you forgot about the Gilbert/Wood/McCoy oh now we need Ash experiment in 2011.
Boyd threw iit a little better and a little more naturally at that age. Heard is definitely faster and more athletic.

Bobby - been a little reluctant to ask this because I thought some on this board would take it the wrong way...but given Heard's season vs Swoopes' season, level of competition, etc, etc...
In your opinion, is Heard ahead of Swoopes?
I know Swoopes is enrolling early & will have about a year & a half of development prior to Heard enrolling...right now, I'm not sure that matters & see Heard passing Swoopes on the depth chart fairly early...just my take
Signatures are stupid. You should block them.
Ash had a roster full of superstar recruits Boykin had a bunch if two and three stars. TCU was in a new conference with the youngest team in America. Ash is at a power-house with kids with offers from every where.
Please tell me you see a difference in the two if not its comical..
Look at TCU's record with Boykin and his mess and and look at UT's record when the Gilbert situation happened. Besides with a depleted team an a bunch of no name kids Boykin and TCU beat Texas this year. Imagine if Pachall and the kids from the drug bust would have played. It woulda got ugly
quarterback nightmare. Your words. It applies to both. Keep digging.
I dare say that if Ash had been healthy the game would have been a lot different. He under throws a bit but not like he did against TCU. This Texas team was the youngest in the NCAA this year. Having proven senior leadership and lots of upperclassmen matches up real well against freshman and sophomores.
You're either too stupid to understand the ironic hypocrisy in this post, or your hate for all things Texas is clouding your judgement.
Go check your facts an stop listening to Mack Brown this Texas team was not the youngest in the nation the two youngest teams were TCU and Miami.
And guys you keep saying Ash was put in a qb nightmare the kid had all weapons GG had Boykin lost two runningbacks a third in the middle off the season and the whole TCU team this year was basically back-ups and freshman compared to what they would have been if not for the drug bust
so, what are you saying?
Disciplina praesidium civitatis
yes imagine if Pachall would have played. I'd imagine the great Boykin would have been sitting on the bench.
