You and I all know USC WILL beat ND. Who will be one and two after that mess?
Fkin bama again? You kidding me? Who in the hell will they play? Winner of fl fl st?
My head hurts!
Oregon ..... After they beat UCLA .... Not before da bruins beat the cardinal?
My head hurts
Ah, I give up......
Oh crap.... Barkley may be out so Domers go 12-0.
Forget it... Crap on me!
If Stanford wins at UCLA, Oregon doesn't go to the Pac-12 title game.
I'm going with ND partially because of Barkley will be out for USC. With that said, ND will have all that pressure on them. All comes down to 60 minutes.
National Director of Scouting & Recruiting Analyst
Tell me KSU wasn't looking ahead to us.
If ND gets in the game with Bama, Satan gets another one.
I rooted for A&M just so the SEC wouldn't play for the N.C. and now KSU and Oregon both lose?
God, I can't wait for the play-offs.
Yup. Back to back weeks of Stanford vs. UCLA would be funny.
Oregon losing also eliminates an at large playing against the Big 10 champ in the Rose.
Rose Bowl - usual Pac 12 champ vs. BIG 10 champs
Sugar - SEC #2 vs. at large
Orange - FSU (unless something funky happens) vs. at large
Fiesta - OU (most likely), possibly KSU or Texas vs. at large
Oregon in the top 5 would have to get one at large (if they are held out of the Pac 12 champ game)
The Big East champ gets another at large spot
That would leave a bunch of schools to fight over the last spot. Obviously if the SEC champ gets to the title game, and #2 goes to the Sugar, then they are eliminated so you can scratch SCar, UF, TAMU from the last at large. Left would be Texas/KSU/OU, Stanford, Clemson.
The Pac-12 Champ would be one of UCLA and Stanford in your scenario, leaving the last BCS at large to either Clemson or (assuming OU takes care of business and we beat Kansas State) KSU/Texas.
Basically in my opinion, if Texas wins out, they are at this point, probably a BCS Bowl team.
Yeah, don't know why I included Stanford. My bad.
But which bowl gets the Big East champ (Rutgers or Louisville)? In what order do the bowls pick this year?
So they key games this week...NC and BCS bowls
Notre Dame - USC
Auburn - Alabama
Georgia Tech - Georgia
Florida - FSU
Oregon - Oregon State
LSU - Arkansas
South Carolina - Clemson
Stanford - UCLA
Oklahoma State - Oklahoma
Missouri - Texas A&M
TCU - Texas
Kansas State is open
Who am I missing? A great couple of weeks ahead for college football.
Notre Dame being good squeezes the BCS by one school.
Texas wins out and the Horns will be in a BCS bowl.

Just imagine if Arkansas beats LSU, Ga. Tech beats Georgia, Auburn beats Alabama, FSU beats Florida, Missouri beats A&M, USC beats Notre Dame, Oregon State beats Oregon and UT beats Kansas State.
"I've heard some of our fans say, 'We were always an SEC school. We just didn't know it," athletic director Bill Byrne said.
i don't see SC beating ND. Not this year.
Texas wins out ... And Oklahoma is gifted another Conference Championship. Mack is good at coming in 2nd place which is better than most other options but then as Mavis Staples sings "99 1/2 % just won't do!"
I'm getting a headache
ou has 2 tough games left as well. Doubtful they win both.
Heck, it will probably be the top 4 SEC teams. Why do other teams even bother?
What if OU lose to Ok State, KSU loses to Texas, and Texas beats TCU as well?!
Texas would go to the Fiesta Bowl as the Big 12 champ.
Who will get the other SEC at large?
Florida if they can beat FSU.
Otherwise you would have 6 teams with 2 losses.
Georgia/Alabama loser (7-2) 11-2
Florida (7-1) 10-2
LSU (6-2) 10-2
South Carolina (6-2) 10-2
aggy (6-2) 10-2
That's where things get dicey. Some are saying 6th place aggy would be the choice. Which would mean they would get chosen over 2 teams that beat them in college station.
With a recent Florida loss, they'd be out of the picture IMO. It would be between LSU and Aggy. Not sure South Carolina can find themselves in the mix even if they beat Clemson.
Georgia beats bama
Florida beats Fl St
ND loses to SC
K state loses to Horns
Oregon loses civil war
Georgia vs Florida in National title
I feel that headache commin on again! Damn!
There is zero chance that Alabama loses to a really bad Auburn team; but they still have the SEC championship game to get through. . Florida-Florida State is a toss-up. Georgia and Notre Dame are probably close to ten point favorites, especially if Barkley is out. .
I don't want to try to call UCLA-Stanford. Both are coming off of huge games. We'll see which if either shows up. Oregon could be flat as well playing against a decent OSU team.
