1. Don't let Cincinnati get into its inside-outside offense with Gates and Kilpatrick/Dixon. If Texas can effectively take one of these away the Longhorns will be in good shape. To me, this is all about solid defense in the half-court setting and a lot of it will fall on Chapman stopping Gates.
2. No slow start. While the tournament is full of games where a team starts slow and then makes a great comeback, the Longhorns have proven this year (Kansas State game being the exception) that this isn't a good formula for them.
3. Kabongo having a good game. 12-15 points, 6-8 assists and under 3 turnovers. An offense often fluctuates based on the play of its point guard. That doesn't change just because it's the tournament. A big game from Kabongo should equal a third-round game against Florida State.

#1 We will know quickly, very quickly, how that matchup will go. Expect the ball in Gates' hands first two trips.
#3 Under 3 turnovers equates to 2 or less.... hard to do against Cincy. I say four max.
three or fewer? Compromise
9 and 4 at Texas sucks!
