In College Station of all places. WTF?
"We're aware of Kendall's situation, have talked with him and his family, and are disappointed any time one of our players is accused of wrongdoing. We take a strong stance against drinking and driving and will continue to monitor this situation to get more details. Following the completion of the legal process, we will do what's best for The University, Kendall and the team. One thing we have great pride in about our program is our family atmosphere and there also will be discipline handled within our family."

Kids are damn stupid
Well, shit. What a moron.
After Caleb jones, you figure these guys were warned and warned but some just don't get it...
Ridiculous...at least he didn't kill anyone
What an epic dumbass.
"I don't hate you, I'm just not necessarily excited about your existence."
Duke Thomas moving to WR was a good idea I guess.
What kind of punishment will he get from this?
kids make mistakes. hopefully he'll learn and grow from it. on a positive note he has a sweet middle name.
9 and 4 at Texas sucks!

probably miss the opener and spend some extra time with bennie.
he'll also have to go to some counseling.
Hate to phrase it like this, but if it was going to happen, it couldn't happen at a better time.
He got a full spring in. If it happened during the fall he'd be missing action. At this moment, he can serve his penance, and not miss valuable practice time.
Stupid mistake, but not a mistake that I lose respect over. Lord knows I've driven after having an extra glass of wine or margarita.
Link says it was Texas A&M PD, so this happened on their campus. smdh
Signatures are stupid. You should block them.
This underage drinking arrest must mean he's a horrible person right? At least on this board.
I hope he doesn't like chicks riding horses
Haha I remember that. Which Texas football player was it that was dating an A&M equestrian girl?

You, of all people, should know what the local police are like in that hell hole.
Mack needs to send a message loud and clear to this team. If he has to make an example out of someone, then do it, but this is getting beyond stupid. I'm sure tomorrow, will get the scripted message from the Texas SID, but "suspended pending the end of the legal process" doesn't cut it anymore. It's obvious some of these kids still don't get it. When you're getting a free ride to one of the best universities in the country and you have a chance to start on one of the most storied programs in college football, you don't make stupid decisions like this. If your willing to risk all that for a night out on the town, in college station no less (weird), then you must not be real interested in playing football. He doesn't need to be coddled. This needs to be dealt with in a way that sends a message to others on the team that if you want to screw around off the field and I as your coach have to get involved over something you did, you might as well start packing your bags. That's the kind of mindset these kids need to have when their off on their own. Is it really worth it? Apparently for Cayleb Jones and now Kendall Sanders, I guess it was. Yeah. kids make mistakes, but you either you have to be dumber than a box of rocks knowing full well what's on the line if you get caught or you simply just don't give a damn about the team and the consequences resulting of your own actions. Anyway you look at it, it's still unacceptable and I'd rather give his spot to a walk-on. You know that kid is not only going to bust his tail to earn his shot to be on the field on Saturday, but I'd also be willing to bet he damn sure is going to stay out of trouble.

At this rate our whole receivers corps will be arrested for doing something stupid..
Dang! Kids are pretty stupid! Why the hell would you go drinking in College Station when you have the great and beautiful Austin, TX to do all the major partying you want!?? haha.. on a serious note, glad nothing worse came from these events...
smarten up. If anyone had the talent to play at UT in my opinion, no chance they'd be doing this. This is just stupid in my opinion.
