Don't know if we're still recruiting him or not but here is a mix of his Sr year for those that haven't seen him:
For years Kendall Harris has been one of the top Point Guards in the South. He has a College guard build standing a 6'4" with a quick first step. Along with Soma Edo they took Richardson Berkner High School to the State Semi-Final Game before falling to the Harrison Twins. Here is Kendall's Senior Season mix.

He looks more like a pg than Croaker. If I was Barnes I'd do everything I could to get both of them and figure the rest out later. Have two combo guards instead of a true point. He's got good size too and athletic. Having those two guys work off each other would be really interesting to see.

dunks with left and right.
Texas is trying to get both, and feel pretty good about their chances.
make for a lot of guards, even if Kabongo leaves.
Just passing along what I was told. And, these things have a way of working themselves out.
Don't know much about him, but I do know he completely disappeared and cratered in the biggest game of his life last week against legit talent. Could mean nothing but not the best sign
I don't believe all of our guards will return
Who else would leave with Kabongo? I don't see Lewis or Holland leaving and definitely not Felix unless he just can't work well with Barnes.
I'd see McClellan as more likely to leave.
May have already started?
"McClellan’s night got worse from there. Barnes removed him from the game less than two minutes into the second half. McClellan did not return until the 7:18 mark."
"This banishment — the fourth for McClellan this season – came on a night when Barnes returned him to the starting lineup after a nine-game absence."
"Barnes said McClellan was benched for defensive lapses – not retreating quickly enough in transition and playing man-to-man while his four teammates were aligned in a zone."
“He said, ‘I thought we were in a man,’” Barnes said. “I said, ‘what would make you think that?’ He said that somebody said it.”
"McClellan was not in the locker room with other Longhorns after the game."
In addition to waiting on the decision from Harris, Randle and Crocker the other major decision is Lewis and McClellan return. Listening to Barnes interviews during the Big 12 Tourney it would appear they are returning. He said that Lewis and McClellan the last 2 weeks began to "get it".............if we were to get 2 or 3 of the new players ..........I could see Holland and Ibeh redshirting...........
We need NBA talent on the floor like years past!! At this point we have none!! I'm tired of hearing about kabongo and the nba because he is not an nba player! If you go back and watch his last 2 years game tapes I bet he hasn't made 5 jump shots in 2 years!! He's like that athletic junior high point guard that is faster than the other kids and can make tons of layups but when he gets to the varsity level he gets exposed because he can't shoot!!!
None would surprise me, neither would Jaylen Bond
No chance Ibeh is redshirting
Red shirting does not affect the scholarship count however, so if Kabongo stays we don't have any room for Harris or Randle unless someone like Bond leaves...

..............If I were to guess Bond is one of Barnes favorite players on this roster. So I think that would be a difficult decision. But I understand the numbers issue. It seems like that always works out................
Please note I didn't even include McClellan in my list of 7 guards in the event Kabongo returns and Texas signs both Croaker and Harris.
Look, it tells you a lot that they're after Crocker and Harris when they're guard-heavy.
As RB always says, these things have a way of working themselves out.
“Kansas may wind up number one in these polls, but that would be so unfair to Texas...” -- Len Elmore, 2/13/11
Making the rational assumption that Kabongo is leaving; we need options at point guard. I'm going to also make the assumption that Bond will transfer, so we have room for everyone even if Randle comes in. Guards: Felix, Lewis, Croaker, Harris, Holland, and Taylor. Wings: McClellan and Papi. Front court: Ridley, Ibeh, Lammert, Holmes and Randle. Croaker and Harris are both kids with enough talent that they will be able to contribute at some point. No reason not to take them.
I've liked this kid for a long time. Very good, underrated all around guard that will get PT from day 1.
Harris and Croaker would be give Texas a much needed shot of athleticism and skill at the guard position. Taking nothing away from Julien Lewis, but both guys are better than Lewis at the same point coming out of HS, IMO...and both guys are certainly more "feistier" than McClellan.
Both would be great additions to the team.
Haven't watched Croaker enough to say if he is or isn't but I can speak on Harris. Harris was extremely tentative and unsure of himself at the state tourney against Andrew Harrison and I do NOT believe he's better than Lewis at the same stage. But he definitely is better than Holland at the same time and appears to be better than Felix as well.
Feel the same. Harris may be more skilled, but he is not a better performer. Lewis was a MF in High School, that didn't back down from anyone.
Exactly, it was disconcerting just how badly he was outplayed by Harrison. He even had an athletic freak inside in Edo who was being doubled before he even received the ball in the post yet Harris still couldn't take advantage of the situation. He didnt look in control at all and I have doubts he'll be anything more than just another guy.
I just looked at the video for the first time. Of course, it is all driving to the basket, but I must say that it would be intriguing to see Harris and Croaker in the same backcourt ... that would be some serious athleticism on the court at the same time. Like Canadianhorn said, take them both and let them take turns bringing the ball down the court. Or, let Taylor bring the ball down the court, I don't care, just take them both.
