Hard for players to have impressive offensive numbers when the team is shit all the way around.
While not a scoring machine he would have been the 4th best scorer on UT this past season at 8.5ppg and his 37% from 3 point land would be #1.

If your a fan you need to hope that Texas does well this season for those players. You sound like you want them to do bad so Barnes has to go. I wanted him gone last year as well but that didn't happen. Focus on the team because they are the ones people should be concerned about. Support them and see if they can surprise us. As for the captain badass, you wouldn't get comments like that if you didn't go around making comments about slapping people.
Great just saw in the statesman that Croaker still hasn't qualified to enter college. But, he is not worried about it. Well he has not been worried about it for several months now.
By far the largest part of the mass-energy of the universe is dark energy. Yeah, that's what has me worried.
Your macho comments entertain me, so I don't know where you got the impression that I was worried about them.
As to your opinion on what a true fan is or isn't, congrats on your definition. It's meaningless to me and will have precisely dick to do with my behavior. I root for Texas irrespective of coach or player, and I root for the Texas programs with a bit of a larger window than a single season and what it provides, which appears to be all of the strategy you can handle.
The reality is that this upcoming season isn't shaping up well, and it is not surprising, and it shouldn't be occurring, and Barnes should not be at the helm, and that all should be on the table as worthy of discussion and criticism. None of this actually has anything to do with the players within the program, other than the fact that they are a product of sub par coaching and recruiting performance by the Barnes regime.
I believe I said he would have been good to have... but he also would be replaceable -- if RB were recruiting at his previous level, which he clearly is not.
“Kansas may wind up number one in these polls, but that would be so unfair to Texas...” -- Len Elmore, 2/13/11
So you want them to do bad next year have Barnes fired then get a new coach and better players? Just so you know I have been a fan over 24 yrs?
I'm Ron Burgundy?
Fantastic. Up vote for you sir-
"He'll read whatever is on the TelePrompTer..."
Classic response. It has only been used about a thousand times here. Come up with something new to say. I am done with you so keep on with your comments. If anything they sure are curious to say the least. The very least.
This isn't really a fair conversation so I'll move on. Every post of yours is more oblivious than the one before it and your ongoing battle with punctuation is a sad bloodletting to observe.
Do you play the yazz flute?
FYI, his response was because your last sentence is a question rather than a statement. That's what was funny, not what you said. CTJ caught it and it made me laugh. The Ron Burgandy quote is solely based on your last question mark-

Thank you for letting me know that. I did see it ended with a question mark. I guess I am typing to fast but, the Burgandy is old, everybody uses it. Anyway I don't really want to talk to him anymore so I will just focus on the basketball team, which is the whole point we are here.
Barnes has lost the team and needs to go for sure, but it doesn't excuse that McClellan and Lewis are weak willed individuals. Both came from shitty HS systems and didnt develop any mental toughness. There's a whole lot of quit in those boys for sure
I want to see how they end up in there last two years of eligibility.
