I think this is a big one, hes close with Paris and Brown.
Again I just don't think it looks good for Texas land any of the top DB talent within State.
Edward Paris Jr @323Eddie_P 1h
Ima need all my LSU followers to follow my boy @ThaJudgeKO he just got offed by LSU !! Show him some tiger love!!!
As long as Texas wins Adams will be a Longhorn and Adams is closer with the Texas commits than Paris
LSU fans seem to think he's already in the bag
Adams, Brown, Paris, Collns and a few others all play for Baron Flenory / Keshan Simmons' elite 7-on-7 team. There will be no help from these guys on getting Adams to Texas.
Also seems like Jermaine Roberts would jump on LSU offer if he got one
Jermaine Roberts @JermaineBlessed 21h
Work with my big bro @Mathieu_Era
10 wins or more this Fall and we get Adams. Anything less, bye.
Jamal will know whether or not Texas is the place for him after roughly the 2nd weekend in October.
Not sure what you are referring too, but that is not the case among most LSU fans. One poster said he "wouldnt be surprised if we got Adams", but Sonny said that he would be "tough to get out of the state of TX"... I definitely think the offer will give him something to think about, but we have PLENTY of DB's on our board right now, so I'm not really sure where Adams fits into our plans. I've been wanting LSU to offer him for months now, and I just hope he will come for a visit with Paris over the Summer, and then we can go from there.
And yes, Roberts would jump on an LSU offer if he gets one, but it's 50/50 if he will get one right now. Like I said above, we are after PLENTY of DB recruits this cycle. Also, Roberts and Hardeman are basically the same player, and Hardeman was our first commit last year & has been our lead recruiter so far. It will be interesting to see if LSU offers any of the "other" St Aug recruits like Roberts, Paul, and Garnet.

Proud to support everything Louisiana
Looks like Garnett to Texas. How does that impact things at LSU.
except Hardeman is 5-8 and slower......
Interesting and disturbing at the same time.
No offer and didn't seem to be recruiting him.
Did you see Who. ---LSU's post?

Hate to break it to ya but Roberts isn't as tall as he may be listed ... Hes a legit 5'8" 170 lbs ... because Tyrann Mathieu is 5'9" 185 lbs ... you be the judge

If you're scared he'll go to LSU because he's close with Paris or Brown, don't be. He's 10x closer to our commits.
...for that photo wit Honey Badger

Looks the same height minus the hair…
Roberts is 5-8 and 1/4... that is what he measured in at a Rivals camp a month or 2 ago... not sure about his speed though
ETA: And I'm sure Hardeman is a little shorter than his listed height too... my point was that they are both "shorter" CB's, while LSU usually recruits much taller CB's for our defense (Peterson, Claiborne, etc)... so I don't think there is any room for 2 "shorter" CB's in the same class (especially when we are still in play for top DB's like Tony Brown, Adoree Jackson, Jabrill Peppers, and Quincy Wilson)
Hardeman is anything but slow.
