Here is the best season in high school football virtually no one knows about, or is talking about...
Little Elm 2013 RB Ke'aun Kinner (5-8.5, 180) just wrapped up one of the most impressive regular seasons in 4A I have seen in my years. I have been waiting to post this until it was known that Little Elm would make the playoffs.
Anyways, looks like Little Elm is in the 4A playoffs with a 5-5 record, and 4-3 in district.
Kinner, who on video has terrific vision and RB instincts with the ability to be a true run maximizer, has 340 carries for 2,692 yards and 27 touchdowns in 10 games. That is incredible as stand alone stats, but it gets better.
With Little Elm facing the task of having to beat either Prosper or Frisco Wakeland to get into the playoffs, Kinner carried the ball 55 times for 332 yards in a loss to Prosper followed by 57 carries for 345 yards in a win over Frisco Wakeland. That's a crazy total of 112 carries in two games, and 677 yards.
Ke'aun Kinner's game-by-game season stats:
Sherman: 46 for 432 yards and 4 TD's (8, 7, 21 and 75)
Carrollton Newman-Smith: 22 for 135 yards
Carrollton RL Turner: 22 for 275 yards and 3 TD's (49, 49 and 54).
Frisco Centennial: 29 for 122 yards
Frisco Liberty: 32 for 343 yards and 5 TD's (1, 2, 11, 8 and 75)
Frisco High: 24 for 144 yards and 2 TD's (65 and 13), and an 85 yard kickoff return for a TD
Frisco Heritage: 32 for 339 yards and 4 TD's (61, 72, 3 and 1)
Prosper: 55 for 332 yards and 4 TD's (33, 2, 6 and 5)
Frisco Wakeland: 57 for 345 yards and 2 TD's (4 and 4)
The Colony: 21 for 225 yards and 2 TD's (68 and 62)
In seven district games, Kinner rushed for 1,850 yards (264.3 per game) and 20 TD's on 250 carries.
On the season, he is averaging 34 carries per game for 269.2 yards (7.9 per carry).
Can't say with 100% certainty, but I'm guessing there are a few 4A records in those incredible regular season stats.

So in 10 games:
1 400+ yard game
4 300+ yard games
Has a shot at a 3,000 yard season, which would likely be the quickest to get there in 4A history if Little Elm can pull out a first round win.
Looks as though the entire city of Frisco will be glad to see Kinner graduate...congrats to Kinner on a great year!

On video, he breaks more tackles on the HS level than any 180-pound (listed at 182) RB I have seen in my years. Not 40 fast, but very good player. Vision is awesome, runs with heart/passion, feet are always moving, breaks so many tackles, stays on his feet, always falls forward, just has that innate feel for how to maximize runs in what ever way possible.
A true sleeper prospect in Texas in 2013.
Ke'aun "Real Steel" Kinner Official Highlight video, Dallas/Fort Worth 4A leading rusher. Yes he is on his way up here is a highlight video of his 2013 season
How many yards did he finish with?
Is Texas looking at him?
Is anyone recruiting him? It seems a season like that would draw some attention.
No kidding. And we have an opening.
Academics will be close. Boise State and others all over him if he gets where he needs to be.
Very good player/prospect
