Based on what we have committed and on campus. Who is our starting QB??
Brenhams next star Darrion Johnson Class of 2014
My guess would be Heard.
I would rather it be either Brewer or Overstreet (Swoopes, if he becomes a stud), but hopefully not Heard. If Heard starts as a redshirt freshman, then there were some evaluation problems. Evaluation problems are common with Mack so it will not surprise me if it is Heard...
Or Heard is just that good and you can't keep him off the field
No inside info, but don't count out Darrion Johnson...
Whoever it is, they won't enjoy going up against your brother in practice every day.
Return question, come the start of the 15' season, what does the two deep in the secondary look like?
Case finds a way to Medical Redshirt and he finally wins the QB Job!!!
Well if that 3* guy commits, he'd be starting by November of 14... ;-)
Swoopes or overstreet
DT isnt looking good right now for '15. Maybe if we can get that Mack kid that year and a juco player or 2 we will be ok. Help is gunna be needed there tho after wiffing this year.
MB2- probably nfl draft.. Leaves us with...
Lord... We're in that bad of shape??
Overstreet or Heard IMO.

do you think Brewer is gone? not mobile enough? not talented enough? or all of the above?

I really hope Overstreet gets a good shot at it. I think he can be very special. I just want a guy to take us to the top, whoever that is...
What's with this "if" crap? Lol C'mon Kash. Make it happen!

Will be fun to see how Heard developes next year. He appeared to finish the year pretty strong. Was really good late in the playoffs. I think Major will be a very good QB coach. He trained and went to camps for it his whole life almost.
Add in a JUCO or two and a handful of 2014 recruits and it won't look quite as ugly.
I don't think he's gone but I feel like he's got to be productive with his feet and I don't know if he can do that.
I agree, Bobby, and I vote Overstreet.
