Still all depends on if your linemen decide to declare or not. It's easy to say now that they're coming back, but a lot can change in a couple of months. No matter who you are, it's difficult to replace 3 offensive lineman, especially if two are first round tackles.
In my opinion Ut would have won the big 12 if we had the Aggie Offensive line as well coached as they are. Say whatever you want UT has been beaten at the line of scrimmage for the last few years and our skill players can not overcome that. Yes Johnny is a great back but truthfully I wonder what OU would do to him if he had to play behind our weak blocking Offensive line.

Dana X Bible's National Championship team
Agreed, JFrank. Those two offensive tackles can take a good quarterback or a good running back and make them great. Sherman left Sumlin with a boat load with those two bookends.
Oklahoma not as good as their record would indicate and Oregon deserving of being in the National Title game, moreso than Alabama. OU has a terrible defense. A&M was beaten by solid defenses that adapted to Manziel and his running abilities in the 2nd half. OU did nothing to adapt and contain him in the 2nd half. KSU just didnt have the horses to keep up with Oregon. Most schools dont. I think Notre Dame and Bama would also struggle to slow Oregon. UofO shouldve been in the Natl Champ game if you ask me versus Notre Dame. But that SEC bias gets any one loss team in over any other 1 loss school that isnt in that conference. Just my opinion. Im sure many will disagree, but that is just what I have gathered throughout the year.
Does any QB?
Definitely think Oregon could win it all.
Wishful thinking. Especially the last part.
The SEC was good, just not quite as good as usual. All of college football was weaker for some reason. As far as the Big 12, there was not a great team in it. I thought K state was after the West Virginia and Miami games. I had West Virginia way over rated after our game. Baylor was probably playing best ball end of year. Aggies matched up to OU weakness. Mobile QBs gave them fits all year. Oregon was capable of beating anyone . Still say the Aggie OL put them up there. Sherman or someone on his staff knew how to judge O lineman.
They would have beaten OU by 2 or 3 TDs instead of 4. I'm not disagreeing that we are too soft on the OL. I'm just stating that Johnny Manziel would make plays even with our poor OL blocking for him. Just not quite as many.
