Texas is loaded this year- 10 players in the top 100, including 5 in the top 20.
The top ones we may have a shot with according to Gerry: Julius Randle comes in at #2 and Keith Frazier comes in at #9.
As far as any other targets in there for UT, I'll let some of the more knowledgeable hoops guys fill you in.

I hate being pessimistic, but i don't think we're getting any of them. Wtf? I would kill to have Julius Randle or the Harrison twins.
"I don't hate you, I'm just not necessarily excited about your existence."
Ya neither do I.
It's a shame, really. How the hell we miss out on all the top prospects in our own state will be a mystery, considering we have some hell of recruiters on this staff :/
well we are pretty full for one thing and we haven't missed just yet. We've seen this coming for a while.
Yeah, i agree, but you ALWAYS make room for a Julius Randle. It's like giving up on Kevin Durant.
Gerry, Are we after Kaviar Shepard from Grace Prep! I may have spelled his name wrong
Umm......no. More like Zach Randolph without baggage. As good as he is, he is nothing like KD.

Texas has the same issues in Shepard's recruitment as they do in Kendall Harris' recruitment. Older brother played/plays for a rival (Harris at OSU and Shepard's older bro is Keith Davis at A&M) and they both play for Jazzy Hartwell's Urban DFW Elite program.
