Looks like there will be some big job openings this offseason. I have to think that Auburn, Arkansas and Tennessee will all be looking for new head coaches. I thought that Tuberville would be on the hot seat before the season started but he looks safe and might even be a candidate for Arkansas and Tennessee. I could see Petrino to Auburn.
Pinkel is probably safe at Missouri. I have to believe that they knew they were going to struggle in the SEC.
AU likes Jimbo Fisher, Bobby Petrino, or Charlie Strong.
AR likes Butch Davis and Charlie Strong.
Tennessee wants Gruden (LOL)

"Who was your source? Church mice in here....." - Coach Muschamp
I would think with Miami down that FSU would be the better job than Auburn.
Good idea to start a new thread on this...
Here are you for sure, likely and possibles...
Boston College (Miami if Al Golden gets/takes BC)
New Mexico State
I can see Bill Snyder retiring at K-State at the end of the season too.
National Director of Scouting & Recruiting Analyst
Tennessee also likes Kirby Smart. Jimmy Sexton is a powerful guy this time a year IMO.
Gruden is an interesting candidate.
I don't understand how Skip Holtz failed at South Florida. On top of that, I don't really get why that program isn't running the Big East. That program reminds me of Arizona State in that it should explode with the right fit. I thought it was ridiculous that Holtz was a candidate at UNC but maybe he foresaw this disaster.
If it wasn't for Phil Bennett pissing all over Art Briles' resume, I would've added Baylor to the list.
Odds of Texas being added to your list.
Yeah, Briles and Rhodes probably stay at Baylor.
All the good HCs are going to be taken!
I would prefer Charlie Sexton but that's just me.
He has legit interest from what I've heard from a quality source. Definitely interesting. You know he will coach again, but when and will it be college or the NFL?
Gerry, legit interest at Tennessee?
I imagine Muschamp will get a nice raise with Sexton as his agent.
I would think that if Briles wins some of his remaining games, say potentially 4, with losses to KState and OU only, that there might still be some interest in him to see what ge could do at a bigger program. If that happens, he would be silly not to jump from Baylor. for example, if Arky wants to grab an offensive minded coach, maybe they go after him.
I think Texas could be added to the list. The issues with the defense, OU and now the
LHN. It may be getting to a point where Texas and Mack part ways.
If a big time school hires Gruden, they're making a mistake. That's just my $.02.
The dominance you want in college is not understood generally by NFL offensive coaches. Then there's the fact that recruiting is something he really knows very little about.

That's up to Mack.
Or after we get a ring.........
A win this weekend and a trip to the SEC title game that follows...no doubt about it.
I understand that hiring NFL coaches is a total wildcard but you act like this is similar to hiring Weiss or Sherman. Gruden is nothing like those coaches.
Mike Riley is another interesting candidate. Been a DC and an OC and a NFL head coach.
