I asked someone if he thought it was time for a coaching change. He said probably. This is a guy who has things named after him.
He's never ever ever said that before!

Either William Cannon or Anderson Mill
Way to say nothing while saying nothing.

I don't think Mack gets fired but I could see him retiring if he feels like he is losing support among the big money donors.
Thanks for posting.

Thinking more LBJ or Lady Bird!
"Leadership is wisdom, courage and great carelessness of self"
Hmm...I'll take it.
Thinking its time for a change and following through with it are very different things
Lose to Baylor this week (which I hope we don't) and my guess is the "probably" will likely change to "yes". That's when all hell could break loose for Mack. I'm not going to bring up what I and others have already said about Mack. There's plenty of threads dedicated to that, but for me, there is no question that the outcome of the game this weekend has so much riding on it than ever before as it relates to the state of this program. I think this game determines the future of the program in terms of what direction we take going forward. A win and Mack can claim that he's got things under control. A loss and the pressure builds for him to step down. Just don't see how he survives that (loss to Baylor & three in a row) at this point despite what is being said at the moment.

FSU and Clemson to the Big 12. Done deal.
Shit, it's 4 years later and Art Briles has a chance to cornhole Mack Brown again.
That's rich considering he sent his kid here 10 years ago to play for him.
Everything that's being said right now by Mack, DeLoss etc is all window dressing. Depending on how the rest of the season turns out, things could change drastically or not at all, but anyone that's believing any of the talk right now is making a mistake. Far too much season left that will determine what happens next year and beyond.
greatness. yup, both of them. at least we haven't heard from JJ Pickle yet.
9 and 4 at Texas sucks!
