"Don't know. Never had one"
-- D. Royal-Mack Brown how to coach a team after a losing season
"28 offensive formations will be used, minimum"
What was the number against Wyoming last year? 6? I remember the comparison between the number used by us and the number used by Boise State. I wonder if there will be any benefit to showing other teams such a high number of formations against such an inferior opponent? And no, that's not a serious question.
I got brains. I got big ol' brains. I got dinosaur brains.
Hook 'Em! ...'til early in the morn.
I swear to Christ if we redshirt Ash and only play GG and Case this year I'm going to start up a firemackbrown.com website, post haste.
So you learned that you wasted a year of McCoy's eligibility because you were too scared to play a backup, huh Mack?
Or put another way, you didn't play the backup when you should have. You didn't roll with other options when they were there. So now that Wood is gone you want to limit your options even more and handcuff yourself to GG even tighter?
Good God. The man is losing it.
GG better come out and throw for 500 yards and 5 TDs against Rice, and if he doesn't Case better. Mack is dangerously leaving himself little options if he redshirts our most talented player and the most important decision.
Mack should call Rick Perry and see about getting into politics. He and FEMA would be a wonderful fit.
Again, using the Rice game only as a measuring stick for QB performance is downright retarded. GG and Case can look like worldbeaters against Rice, but what the hell does that matter? Talk to me after OU, Mack. Let me know what you think of your QBs then.
Doubt we used 28 in Davis' entire tenure.
