I'm back, and I sense a bit of
Disappointment on Bohl's part.

Good job, Kirk. You announced something that everyone expected. Let's wait about 72 hours and see if Dodds still has a job
Why would that be? I don't think anyone with half a brain thought Major was going to be punished againg for his crime of, most likely drunken, passion. I think Bohls fits into this qualification.
Maybe the BoR just wanted to get together for a pre-game, catered at taxpayer expense, Super Bowl party.
I like ur sense of humor, texaztom!!
Thanks, too much gloom and doom this weekend for my taste.
Since it's a closed (executive) session, they wouldn't be able to take any action from what I understand. If we get notice of another called meeting this week, then I think something might be brewing.
Mike Finger was busting on Kirk earlier today. Funny stuff.
Texas regents are in their second hour of meeting in closed session via conference call. No regent is present; only Texas chancellor, staff.
Mike Finger @mikefinger
@kbohls I know who else isn't present and his name rhymes with Dirk Rolls.
9 and 4 at Texas sucks!
- Jeff Howe
Kirk has a new official nickname.
The meeting was never about Major's job status. Hooboy.
So is that, that - or could there be more from the BOR in the coming days/weeks?
Lol, great post! Welcome back.
It isn't close to being over. Heads are going to roll, but it isn't Major's.
It was announced in the article this morning that no action would be taken at today's meeting. duh
I am rather surprised that Bohls was tweet about something other than his beloved Aggies.
I thought the same thing. I'm not calling him a douche nozzle anymore.
Welcome back to the board!
I was thinking the BOR plan was to announce the formation of the UT College of Aviation.
Wishful thinking unless you think powers is out
I dont know about Powers having a job, but what about Applewhite? Didnt texas just get rid of a coach for the same thing? Some female coach? Keep Applewhite and it has lawsuit written all over it. Not that you guys dont have money to burn, but dang, serious double standard if he keeps his job.
There is nothing more dangerous in this world than a man with nothing to lose.
Applewhite didn't have a relationship with one of his own players and reported his indiscretion immediately. He has already received his punishment, gone through counseling and is ready to shred some OU defense this year in Dallas. Kearney should have resigned gracefully for what she did had no place in organized collegiate athletics. Now her lawyers are trying to turn it into a descrimination suit when in actuality, they shouldn't even have a leg to stand on.
You are either ignorant (of the facts) or an idiot.
