My colleague said it was a home game tradition only. Win or lose but at the very least it is not a road game or neutral game thing.
All of you will laugh about this but my 13 year old daughter's fast pitch softball team normally engages in a post game prayer and rally with the other team, win or lose. It's really charming to me but it's girls! Go girls! May be unconstitutional but what the hell.
No laughing here...I love sportsmanship. I was going to post that singing the alma mater after games win or lose is what most high schools do, so it should'nt be foreign to these kids. I also like when both teams pray after games. I think it's kind of dumb to only sing at home, you should show fans on the road and neutral sites that you're a united team and have pride...
Perhaps this stuff is just why beating OU occurs so seldom. Football involves playing with personal pride and respect for your school, your coaches ,and yes yourself.

Agreed! Jeff talked about it in one of the articles, where it seems like the TX/OU.game means so much more to the OU players, as they display alot more pride in the game...
when mack starts caring about the ou game w/ personal pride and respect, we'll start winning it.
