SIAP. Great article. Interesting how some of it lines up well with speculation and "insider" talk around the interwebs.
One thing's for sure, Mack needs to stop taking kids to places that cost parents lots of money on official visits.
Either this website doesn't exist or is not currently available.
Hilarious how we were hearing this whole time about how great his Texas visits went but according to that the parents only liked Mack and DGB wanted to drop us a long time ago. Seems like we never had a shot.
Oh well, that's recruiting.

Pretty cool article.
Sounds like Texas was 4th.
Doesn't the article say that Dorial couldn't follow through on dropping Texas? Article reads like Mack is a basses recruiter when it involves family, and it supports the Beckhams giving their blessing if he wanted to go to Texas.
Seemed eating at Vince Young's Steak house was a negative since it's a pricey joint and Texas could not pay for his brother or a friend. Maybe need to reconsider since the Beckham's had to pay $100 out of pocket for two people. Of course they went to probably one of the worst games of the year, wish they could of attended during Banquet week would of been better in my opinion.
It also sounds like mom was heavily in Mizzou's corner.
So much for Mizzou "blowing the visit"...
Fascinating. Thanks for sharing.
Thayer Evans is still hanging around I see.
Wow, they really liked Mack! He did us proud! Interesting how they pegged Saban and Stoops like the rest of us see them.
What is interesting is that they mention in the article that Alabama was crossed off his list specifically due to distance but it is actually closer to Springfield than Austin.
So... Mack the wedding planner huh? That's hilarious.
