Nothing wrong with an OT board.
I agree Coach Cutlip is an Oakie troll.
Check your calendar. April is always slow on what is mostly a football board.
"I've heard some of our fans say, 'We were always an SEC school. We just didn't know it," athletic director Bill Byrne said.
Busted. Oak trees are my favorite. You caught me. You caught the oaker
I know. I was just saying that an OT board could help. Especially in slow times like this. Just because the FB news is slow doesn't mean the board traffic has to be.
Two sports guys and BBQ. You gotta like this one. :-)
I am one of the few Austin 360/Hookem "original members" which meant many of you were on the 247 site before we merged. Few of us have stayed posting on this site. Most frankly went to a facebook group and continue the strong sense of community which we built on Hookem.
Hookem did have community mods who kept things in bounds. I note that some who have ties to other boards want this kept strictly on longhorn sports or at least sports since there seems to be no opposition to thread poking fun at Aggies, Oregon, or Ou. Other posters seem to want to stay on one board for all their posting needs. I understand the passion some of you bring to this thread, but I see validity to either side. MartiMar seemed to express his point of view particularly well so I responded.
I have enjoyed this board. Even posting from my hospital bed when I went into afib (heart problems). I find the quality of sports (longhorn) coverage to be well worth the money. I have found that the 247 blue board has some rather passionate discussions off sports alot and I have developed friendships with people all across America on it though none as satisfying yet as the friendships I have from the old hookem days.
All that being said, I support whatever decision the moderators in here decide as long as I am not censored for saying OU sucks.

Dana X Bible's National Championship team
And, I admit, grammar smack is pretty weak.
I was just blowin' the gooner some chit.
Grammar is a strong point of mine. But other than being a fan of an out of state team, I'm no different than any other Oklahoman you guys talk trash about. It's like being that one white guy that hangs with a group of black guys. "You're different white boy" doesn't make him feel better about his friends talking smack about Caucasians. Just my thoughts after 16 or so months of being a part of this community.
Again. Not a sooner.
You're a liar.
Wait. I'll make you feel better - your a liar
You two - get a room, or learn how to PM.
half my family is from oklahoma and they are all really cool - even my brother who went to ou. doesn't make oklahoma suck any less.
What is your point ?
Are you suggesting we should temper our gooner trash talk because you live there ?
I like you LiOK but ..................................
No. Just giving a different perspective.

Do you have all of your teeth? Has your house ever got a parking ticket?
I am a born and bred Texan but moved to Tulsa and can tell you there is no difference between the people here and in Texas other than they root for a sorry team ;) Good folks so all this trash talk is just that really, but then everyone knows that anyway so no need to take it any other bud.
Born: College Station
Currently living: Tulsa
What do you think?
This should be fun.
Well, I think you either ARE different or you are not. So, what say you?
This should be fun.
obviously I am a different breed of Oklahoman.
