Which is why a prototypical NFL QB (tall, huge arm, white) from freaking Delaware just won the Super Bowl.
Haha. Coincidentally, a Horn at my company just told us the story today about how he dropped out of UT his freshman year and returned years later after serving in the Air Force for a while, then getting a 4.0 for 30 hours at UTSA to get his GPA back over a 3.0 so he could re-enroll in Austin. I think everyone knew someone that went a little overboard when they first got to college. It's a normal college thing; not an A&M-only thing.
Anywho, I don't think Manziel was a 3-star because he got an MIP or because he was suspended from a HS game once. You seriously think that? Ask Gerry, Bobby B, or even Ketch why he was a 3-star. 75 touchdowns as a senior against good 5A and 4A competition and a Parade AA. I think they just looked at the video and saw a 5'11" - 6'0" white kid without a UT offer, which is enough to knock a star off in their eyes.

Flacco started out at Pitt.
Disciplina praesidium civitatis
Did he get in a fight after the bars closed and give the cop a fake ID?
This is what i said earlier and his arm is not plenty enough strong. He will be at atm all 4 years.
If u actually think he is 6'1 then i have some real estate for u. Those numbers are never accurate....brees and russell are because of combine.
and why one was picked over for Rookie of the Year. Those guys will still be around but you don't have to be one to run franchises anymore. Fairly obvious.....
Who said you did? You said they are a thing of the past. Then you said they will still be around. That was easy.
Don't get all worked up over this stuff. If you are a football player at Texas, you don't have to go to class either. You have to be a real fuck up to get in academic problems at a big name school as a football player.
"You will reap what you sew" -Steve Keenum
Or have Brian Davis overseeing your academic progress.
I got brains. I got big ol' brains. I got dinosaur brains.
I grant you, it's a tough concept for someone like you to follow. Feel free to try again. The answer is still out there for you.
No, it's pretty simple. Not tough at all. You did some sweet back-pedaling in this here thread. It was fun to see.
I didn't do a bit of back peddling. You've just missed things as usual. Saying the prototypical QB is a thing of the past doesn't mean there won't be any, it means you no longer need to be one to be considered an early entry candidate. Which just happens to be the topic of discussion........like I said, I realize things are hard for you to follow but you keep at it!

Here's a lesson: saying something is a "thing of the past" means that it is no longer in the present.
Tomorrow we will work on the future.
Did you get that one, genius?
You're still struggling, biff.
biff? God, you're pathetic at this. I'm going to stop now. This is like playing Jeopardy with a retard.
It's sad that you'd lose a game of jeopardy to a retard.
Johnny is nowhere close to 6'1". His dad, Paul, is a legitimate 6'1''. I saw the two of them standing side by side last summer and Johnny is 3 to 4 inches shorter than his dad. Unless he's had a tremendous growth spurt since August, his height has been overstated in the data you posted.
It's a little harder to judge the kid's weight, but I doubt that he weighs 200 as well. My best guess would be closer to 175-180.
Just look at his height compared to Denzel Nkemdiche in the picture of the article. Nkemdiche is listed at 5'11.
