Broaddus is great.
He's a great recruiter and evaluator
That is pure gold
That would be my choice.
5 players drafted in the first round since 2008 that he recruited (4 more in the 2nd round).
If he agrees not to hire Brad McCoy.
Signatures are stupid. You should block them.
Jeff Tedford would be one of my first calls. Zook would be on that early list as well.
'How does one man assert his power over another, Winston?'
'By making him suffer,.'
Tedford would be a great hire! He has a great demeanor and really knows how to talk to athletes.
I think they were roommates in college :/ lol
Several good prospects already mentioned including Randy Rogers, Beau Trahan, etc.
Wonder just how open that salary is as well as how strict is the requirement re having experience with UTAustin football program. ?
Is there any movement on this or is there specific date in mind that Texas may be looking to fill this spot by?
Also since Texas Football seems to operate with high profits, is there any thought to hiring multiple staff members to pretty much do nothing but evaluate and recruit?
I don't have any inside info, but I imagine that Mack is mostly focused on spring practice right now.
The posting implies that the DoPP advertised will supervise a staff of 2 plus an admin.
I'd think they'd want atleast a staff of 5+ to do it right. You'd want to be able to hit the big HS games every week across the state. They should hire a guy (retired HS coach) in Htown and Dallas to work from home scouting games and making evaluations in the fall.
There is so much potential here.
How great would it be to hire Yaw Yaw Football? That guy has a thirst for recruiting that cannot be quenched. Of course, he needs to be in a position that he can actually talk to recruits too, as he's one of the most likable guys (for recruits) in the business.
I'd be shocked if he wasn't approached, he should be.
That guy sucks. Can't stand listening to him when training camp comes around. Just brutal.
Tim Brewster-Director and on his staff Claude Mathis, Donnie Little, Vince Young....go get em boys!!!!
Glad you are still here dude. I don't always agree with you, but it's good that you stuck around.
Don't be afraid to ride the lightning.
