The lead: It wouldn't be a National Signing Day without a potential NCAA violation by Lane Kiffin.
Read 'ESPN may have helped Lane Kiffin commit another recruiting violation' from our blog Dr. Saturday on Yahoo! Sports. It wouldn't be a National Signing Day without a potential NCAA violation by Lane Kiffin. Around 8:30 a.m. on the USC campus, ESPN reporter Shelley Smith recounted a text message she had received from Kiffin about three hours earlier on … Continue reading →
If you can follow the NCAA's tax-code-esque rule book at all times without ever slipping up, you are really good at following rules and probably suck.
secondary violation while on probation is not good. NCAA needs to add year or reduce ship count by one

I just really have no faith in Kiffin. He knows the rule book (or at least he should by now with all his problems). I think everything that man does is planned out and considered. Not any accidentals on NSD
I just can't figure out if Kiffen is super dirty or super stupid, or both.
I just think he doesn't know the rules.

Remember this is not the first time ESPN did something like this.............as UConn was building a national power in Women's Basketball ESPN gave recruits access to their studio's in Bristol, Connecticut..........

The man is a compliance officer's worst nightmare. He can't be that ignorant of the rules, can he?
I can imagine it being pretty tough since he's still a relative new comer to the college ranks. But his window of claiming ignorance is closing fast.
It's easy to be ignorant of the rules when you don't care what they are. You couldn't pay me enough money to handle compliance for that buffoon.
how is he a relative newcomer? third year head coach and 5 years as an assistant including 1 year as RECRUITING COORDINATOR at USC.
he's a habitual line-stepper.
Heck, I know this rule and it isn't my job to know it. He just doesn't care about following rules.
He is stupid dirty. Sad thing is I think he will have a pretty good team next year, well probably better than pretty good. Can't stand that guy. He just comes off as a major dirt bag to me.
The is a rule that EVERYONE in college football knows. This is not some obscure rule.
