Case McCoy is listed as the starter at QB. David Ash is the backup. Alex King is the No. 3 QB.
Johnathan Gray is still the sole starter at TB. Joe Bergeron is No. 2, Malcolm Brown is No. 3.
Cayleb Jones is listed first as the co-starter at Z with Marquise Goodwin.
Cedric Reed is listed as the sole starter at BUCK. Shiro Davis is the backup.
Alex Okafor is listed first as the co-starter at STRONG END with Reggie Wilson.
Tevin Jackson is the starter at SLB. Peter Jinkens is the backup.
On Special Teams:
Nick Jordan is listed as the sole starter at PK.
Punter Alex King is your 3rd string QB
King walked on Duke as a QB, ran Duke's scout team; had 14 TD passes and led his high school team to a 5-3 record. - per bohls
Jeff I know this has been asked a lot but what's the deal with MB1? Is he hurt or what? Also I'm "scared to death" to watch this game.
What does that say about Brewer?
That they're not burning his shirt.
We aren't gonna burn his shirt
Dang it always a little too late
F yeah. Mix in some punts on 1st and 2nd downs to keep the D honest.
Finally Tevin Jackson!!!!
No lie, I played against a school in high school (Robstown) that would punt on 2nd or 3rd down sometimes. Their coach said it was all about playing the field position game, but we all laughed because it was the dumbest shit we'd ever seen.
I laughed too but if every pass by McCoy gets intercepted then it's only equal to a 15 yd punt most times. Maybe we need to talk to that Robstown coach a bit. Lol.

So, do we think this is a legit QB controversy - or just dictated by the injury to Ash?
This is going to be really difficult watching McCoy in there
I think there's a very good chance that King is a better QB than McCoy, yes.
Jeff, Mack just woke up from his 10 AM nap so be easy on him. He's very tired and may already be looking forward to his post-lunch nap.
I agree 100%... KState has two of the top pass rushers in the league. I see a lot of the old hellicopter play in our future Saturday.
Case and Ash have always been 1&2, just in a different order. So has Alex King always been the #3 QB? Or has he never been listed, thus making it a little clearer that Ash is hurt?
Case moves around the pocket a lot better than Ash. IMO he just doesn't have the arm strength or experience that Ash has.
King has never been listed as the No. 3 QB.
This is the way our season ends, not with a bang but a smooth buttf*****g from a purple clad septuagenarian. And a whimper.
I got brains. I got big ol' brains. I got dinosaur brains.
This is laughable. Case has some of the worst pocket presence I have ever seen. He bails at the first hint of pressure.
I honestly think it's a learned habit from highschool that helped Case see the field and broke down coverage to provide him with open WR's.
And find a quartert of awaiting TCU defenders.
Must be why he got so rattled against Kansas.
