That's good news.
I take that as a definite maybe.
I have high hopes for this kid. Don't know why. Just do.
So do I. He has the confidence on offence where Barnes won't kill his game and he has the chance to be a really solid defender with his athleticism
Leaving at 2:30 a.m.?
“Kansas may wind up number one in these polls, but that would be so unfair to Texas...” -- Len Elmore, 2/13/11
Let's see, if a man jumping travels at 7m/sec, and Orlando to Austin is 1600 km, then the video below suggests it will take Croaker about 230,000 seconds or a little less than 3900 minutes, which is a tad under 65 hours, so he should be arriving around 4:30 p.m. Sunday (Austin time). That sounds like he has it pretty well planned, provided his financial aid package means he doesn't have to complete registration by Friday.
Murray State bound Demarcus Croaker (Jones High School; Class of 2013) throwing down a sick one handed dunk on his defender at the 2012 Arrow Force Christmas Tournament.
So it looks like that dunk put them up 14-1 in the first 3 1/2 minutes. I imagine a good time was had by all wearing the dark jerseys.
I am looking forward to seeing what he can bring to the team ... which reminds me I have to re-up my season tickets by the end of the month.
I bet when you are home someone has to remind you where the restroom is.
He is hungry. I hope that energy rubs off on the team.
Talked to Croaker tonight. He leaves at 2:30 EST and arrives here at 4:30 PM tomorrow.

Naw! It's the little house outback with the little moon cutout on the door. We painted it robin's egg blue and put a copper roof on it so it would be easy to find - we're in the Eanes Independent School District, ... you know, gotta keep up appearances.

Because if you don't have hopes for him then you believe the program is doomed. This kid is the only hope for a scorer we have.
We're doomed, I tell ya! DOOOOMED!!!
But if he left at 2:30 a.m. EDT and is arriving 4:30 p.m. CDT, then he must be moving at something in the neighborhood of 30m/sec, and if he can jump like that, then he will dominate.
Bierce I am glad that you put and end to the overseas accounts. I know that happened because we can't land any four or five star players even if they were in Austin. But lay off the beer.
This guy is a tweeting machine. Give it time. It will get so interesting.
Probably wired on whatever he used to stay awake during the trip.
No reflection on Croaker, but you can sure see where a kid can get in hot water over comments on tweeter. It can be so immediate. Use that thread of tweets as an example. You are just commenting along with people who you can easily begin to see some of them as closer to you than they really are. It is easy to veer off into just about any subject, like they did on the Zimmerman trial, and all of a sudden, you have said something stupid that you cannot take back ... Oops! I guess it is kind of like following threads on this board ... except maybe here it is a bit more like slow motion and perhaps people don't know who you are.
OK! If he can jump like that, then we are not DOOOOMED!!!!
