Starting the thread here...
* Mike Gundy has been offered Tennessee job accd to CBS.
* Florida International has fired Mario Cristobal (could Manny Diaz become a candidate?)
* If Gundy takes it, who would be the next head coach at OSU? Todd Monken, current OC, is the odds-on favorite but not guaranteed from what I know.
* Bret Bielema is asking to coach Wisconsin in Rose Bowl. Wisconsin AD Barry Alvarez says he is considering whether to allow Bielema to coach the team or perhaps he might coach them hisself.

Do you think Barry Alvarez would coach again?
Do you think OSU is would be a step up or down from UNC assuming they wanted Fedora?
Man I hope Gundy stays at OSU. Their level of competitiveness takes a hit if he leaves... For the sake of a strong conference, I'd like to see him stay at OSU, Patternson at TCU, and Briles at Baylor.
Fedora would take Oklahoma State over UNC. UNC is not a football job and Fedora has closer ties to OSU and the state of Texas.
Unless they got someone just as good. But I agree. He's done a great job of building them up. They recruit well and are a competitor nearly every year.

I'm with you. Coaches fleeing a good situation only helps the SEC superiority complex. It's his alma mater for damn sake!
Would Holgorson be a target for OSU if Gundy leaves?
At least Alvarez knows how to WIN a Rose Bowl :-)
Bobby, will Fedora be a candidate for the Texas job when Mack eventually leaves?
How likely is it that Gundy takes the job? I just can't see him leaving his alma mater for the situation in Knoxville.
If Gundy to Tenn.
Then Holgo to OSU.
Petrino to WVU.
Monken or Morris to FIU.
Signatures are stupid. You should block them.
Yeah that's what bothers me too. He seems to love OSU. I have a hard time seeing him leaving as well.
Diaz at FIU is laughable. Although FIU did hire Isiah Thomas so I guess anything is possible.
I guess we'll see just how bad his relationship is with the AD.
Unlikely. Bigger fish with more proven numbers.
That's true. I forgot about that aspect. It could be enough to override his liking of his alma mater.

I won't rule out Gundy, Strong or Fedora until they say they're out or sign extensions. All 3 ADs want coaches to announce they're staying.
And whether Boone is ready to write another check.
John Hensley, who covers Oklahoma State for the newspaper there, just tweeted the following:
Robert Allen on the radio: "I've got some news, Mike Gundy is staying at Oklahoma State... He has made a decision."
Mario Cristobal went from a guy who just a year ago a lot of Miami fans were hoping would get The U back on top, and now he's out of a job.
Holgo won't be going to OSU. Could be wrong but don't see that one based on what I've heard.
Bobby - in your opinion, would Holgerson be a good fit in Austin?
Great fit on 6th Street.
