like so many others, i am just very happy about this. This is only the second time i have ever been happy about a de- commitment. The other was his teammate and friend.
I wish both of these young men success, but as has been posted by others, it is best that they find that success someplace besides the 40.
The lesson i hope some young men learn is to wait. Nobody complains about the young athletes that wait, listen to all schools, take all their visits, and just tell the truth, and then make up their mind when their are truly ready to commit.
i love what Mack says. They are not "dating", they are committed. Thats how i think we all want our athletes to feel. And don't tell us you are committed when you are still just testing the waters
Thanks for the correction. I didn't know about the SPC. It doesn't matter when it comes to the tapes though.
exactly. a cousin of my wife went to country day, and we went to watch their homecoming game a couple of years ago (can't remember the opponent). my high school's JV team would have run both of those groups off the field.
he doesn't like you Bobby. you're just going to have to get over it. put me in the group not torn up over this decommitment. i expected it and am glad.
Bobby- take him out of your top 100. like maybe #101. it would be funny.

Best thing that could have happened. Let him go somewhere where the offense fits him and we don't have to deal with the circus anymore.
Soft ass spoiled private school kids who are too weak of will to go to a real football school and compete against the best in state (and some out of state) are a joke. Gresham, Cocks... GFY and everyone who knows you.
Beating up on a bunch is spoiled rich white kids and having the nerve to think you're something... What a bunch of weak ass clowns.
Best of luck to the young man.
Never understood the hoopla and gnashing of teeth over him and his antics.
Hopefully this is the last time his name is posted on here.
Is UT really running a true spread offense?
Spring looked a lot like a faster offense than last year but not completely different than last 2 years.
I like it, mama.
Private school kid bang your gf or something?
my sentiments exactly.
Gf? How cute.
No, I've coached enough of those little twats to know one when I see one
Him and Knox seemed to have a huge entitlement / atitude problem. I'd rather get some guys that actually want to play for us and work hard.
Been waiting for that one to show up.
gotta love the downvotes from tapps/spc parents. insecure much?
Goodbye to Drama Queen #2 . Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.
Wait! He is fronting, obviously. But still Ashspastic's best post by far. Funny that he lives over here.
Is this offical yet?
Gresham: Hey Meechy I did it, I did it! I decommited from UT just like you! The only difference is I didn't tell anyone yet. Pretty cool huh?
Meechy: What? Oh cool yeah. Watch out for that Bobby Burton man, he'll "F" up your whole swag before you can give Texas the finger. Those damn coaches think they can keep us from visiting other schools. Who do they think they are?
Gresham: Yeah man your right. Who do they think they are trying to keep us from taking our proper visits? We can go anywhere we want. They don't own us! Just trying to keep us down. You know I wanted to decommit the same time as you but I didn't want people to think I was just following you around. I'm my own man just like you! So where do you think we should visit next? The ohio state trip was fun...maybe Miami, Oregon, Michigan, Nebraska, USC? Where Meechy, where should we go?
Can we rescind this guy's offer? He broke team policy. I say "86" him.
