@JeffBorzello Brandon Austin is headed to Providence, according to his Twitter account.
Well, that's surprising.
Basketball recruiting is just odd.
I had a good feeling = I know nothing
Will be funny if Texas ends up with Frazier and Randle at the end of the day.
Here are some quotes:
Wow. I had bad info on that one guys. Apologies. Very much trusted that it was UConn-Texas.

we better because right now there's really no one else on the board. But looking at this team even if Kabongo leaves after this year, if you somehow add Keith Frazier and Julius Randle to it I think it instantly becomes a top 5 team. Even more complete than the Durant/DJ Augustin team.
So Ed Cooley can survive going 2-16 in conference this year because next year Dunn will be healthy, Ledo will be eligible, and Austin will be on campus?
Demarcus Croaker, where are you?

Gerry based on your current info, do you think Texas has an honest shot at Frazier and Randle. Not both, but either or?
They could get neither. They are not exactly riding a wave of momentum right now. Wonder what Gerry thinks they would do if they missed on them.
You know enough about how basketball recruiting works that nothing should be surprising. ;)
I'll guess the answer would be to play with 10 or 11 scholarship players again if Croaker doesn't get his grades in order, but maybe there will be some grad transfer available or an overseas recruit or late reclassification from 2014 or something.
Sounds about right but that would be sad knowing you missed on everyone you wanted.
I don't know about Frazier and I'm not Gerry, but they definitely have a shot with Randle. They're sitting in a pretty good position with him right now.

I think Randle will make his choice based on how good a season UT has and who stays and who leaves.
