I was thinking about the recruits that Baylor has recently pulled in on defense and they could be pretty good on that side of the ball in the future. They pulled Magee last year and then Billings & Nance this year. If they are able to discover some "diamonds in the rough" in addition to these highly regarded players; they could be a serious contender when you combine an improved defense with a prolific offense. We have to win big in 2013 so we don't continue to lose players like Billings, Magee, & Rhoades to Baylor.

Their best prospect on D is a Penn State transfer defensive end.

They played better later in the year and maybe they can build on that. Billings was definitely a good get for them. I expect the D to be better this year.
Shawn Oakman is one the staff is ready to let play to see how he does vs other competition.
He's 6'8 270ish, but should be 290 or so after the Spring. Florence had issues with him in practice throwing to his side. He's got a chance to be very good.
