Longhorns are now 22-20, 5-13 overall. In serious jeopardy of not making the conference tournament.
Maybe if we don't make the Conference tourney then they will clean the house in the baseball department. More and likely won't though since Augie is like 24 wins away from the all time win list. Gotta get rid of Nicholson though, same bats as last year and we have scored way less runs then last year.
How long til Dodds chimes in on what a great job Augie is doing changing the culture with all his young players?
Wow! Embarrassing losing to baylor in any sport, except women's basketball. I guess winning all the time ia not good. Now the baseball players are going to appreciate the wins more and more. Wow!
Have no idea who Baylor's AD is, but he's better than ours.
Why chime in when he can just assume it will get better as he ticks off the days until he collects his annuity?
I got brains. I got big ol' brains. I got dinosaur brains.
IMO, it's obvious Augie will retire @ the end of the season...he had his chance to replace an asst & start over...hasn't worked
This team has no confidence in itself or leadership & is just playing out the season...& IMO Augie will retire with these 3 as the leading candidates:
Brian O'Connor, UVA - likely leading candidate after rebuilding UVA
George Horton; Oregon - close ties to Augie; hasn't seen the commitment from UO he was promised when rebuilding program from start
Tim Corbin; Vanderbilt - Wildcard

Time for Augie to retire... Please,
Time for Augie to go to the rocking chair with beverage holder permanently!
Augie Garrido isn't retiring, no way. Just not his nature. He may be the most competitive son of a gun on campus. I do tire of hearing these relics talk about how they don't want to leave things this way. Every freaking program and our AD says something like that.
Personally, I could care less if Augie is even one win away - The University should be first and foremost - sad when a university like Oregon having a better program than Texas - seriously?
Texas should never be struggling to finish with a winning season record!!
Basketball & Baseball programs reeling. Some hope in Football, dependent, on a significant improvement in Defense.
