Avery Bradley getting some playing time with the Celts and making highlight plays stuffing Dwayne Wade.
Avery Bradley Blocks Dwyane Wade - Heat @ Celtics 4/1/2012

He's doing a lot more than just getting playing time. He's playing really well. He's a big part of the reason why the celtics have turned it around.
I'm a Celtics fan and I'm really happy with this guy.
Would have happend quicker had he stayed in school another year
Avery Bradley was one of my favorite recruits ever to sign with Texas.
I don't know if it is because of the way that year went or what, but he feels distantly estranged from the Texas program just for me.
clack..........for me he should feel estranged. I think he was a me-first player and not a team-first player. Glad he is doing well and hope he continues to do so in the future...........but for me he is a bad actor. You don't leave and then bad mouth your coach as soon as you leave campus.........

He had a big third quarter against the Heat and help the Celts open up a big lead in what turned into a blow-out game.
I'm not sure how likely that is. Wouldn't he be a rookie this year if he had stayed another year? It would be difficult to have your arrival happen earlier than your first season. I guess he could have been playing better from the first of this year.
I am a huge Celtics fan since the Bird era and I have watched a lot of games this year.Bradley is starting to get more and more playing time every game.He is starting to show the potential that we all knew he had and not only on the defensive side of the ball.He is contributing on the offensive side draining big shots when he needs to and his handle with the ball is very impressive.I hated the fact that he left early but when the C's pick him up it eased the pain just a little bit.Playing behind Rondo i think is really benefiting his overall game quite a bit.
He's a much needed athlete on an old team.
I never liked him here honestly but I'm happy he's doing good things in the NBA. He seemed slightly cancerous.
