Was hoping UK vs KU for 2013-2014 season...alas, not scheduled...possible NCAA tournament game showcasing ten 5*s from both
5* Julius Randle - PF
5* Aaron Harrison - SG
5* Andrew Harrison - PG
5* James Young - SF
5* Dakari Johnson - C
5* Marcus Lee - PF
5* Andrew Wiggins - PF
5* Wayne Selden - SG
5* Joel Embid - C
5* Brannen Greene - SG
Only if my schedule permits a trip to Austin in the beginning of January, KU comes to Austin in one of the first conference games of the year, Texas is playing in a big bowl on the same day, and I get someone to pass me a ticket before the Jayhawk fans get them all.
Basketball recruiting is clean as a whistle
Will the next Texas coach cheat better than Barnes

Thanks for the advice but I think I can handle it. Did not see Kansas coming at all. Sure will be interesting to see what kind of season Kansas has. I say season because we all know what happens to them when tournament time comes along.
Hey I was very surprised. All kidding aside.
I know that goes on, so do most people but I don't think Bill Self pays recruits. He may break some recruiting rules but passing out money don't think so with Barnes either. Kentucky? With their coach anything is possible but they probably didn't offer him any money because with all the players they have they didn't need him. Every time I see Embid's name on Kansas roster I am going wonder how much losing him will cost Texas.
Andrew Wiggins not going to FSU is going to have the same effect as Randle not coming to Texas. Both guys could have turned these programs around and really changed these programs outcome next year. Big recruiting misses by both schools in which could have turned their programs around.

It's gonna be a tough year for Texas in conference play. Maybe .500?
Does one freshman player really make a "fringe top 25 team" into the #5 preseason team?
According to Jason King, he does.
I tend to think that's a slight overstatement. KU is still freshmen out the wazoo. Of course, they are generally bigger, faster, more athletic freshmen who can shoot better than the guys on other teams, no matter what year of service they are in, but still . . .
