A simple survey to gauge what the average Hookem subscriber thinks. Sometimes it's tough to know because some are louder than others and post more often. The question to the group is whether Mack Brown should be fired at the end of this year if he does not resign.
If you believe Mack should be fired at the end of the year: upvote this thread
If you believe he should not be: downvote this thread
If you're not sure or want to see how the season finishes: don't vote
Net upvote and this population wants him out.
Net downvote and this population wants him to stay.

Up vote Troll! Jk
Or the opposite. Sometimes the majority is silent. For full disclosure, I can't upvote my own thread but would if I could.
Edit: OP corrected his post

Which is exactly why I thought it made no sense that you said we couldn't count total votes.
At the top of the thread, it shows the vote and the number of users who voted. Right now, we see +10 from 16 users.
Ergo, 13 to 3.
Ah. Almost always on the site on my blackberry and it doesn't show total votes! Thanks for pointing that out. Now 13 to 5. I will edit the OP.
And I will remove my unfortunately snide comment. Sorry about that.
How about starting a thread should Mack not be fired so those who want him gone could downvote you. You see to several you have come across as an upvote whore rather than someone who is trying to do a real survey. It would take all of ten minutes to count what each person says on a thread like Should Mack Brown be fired? Just vote yes or no. Others will see how you voted but so what?

For the record, there is very little in the world that matters to me less than an upvote or a downvote. I was trying to keep this anonymous because, even with screen names, some are intimidated by other posters. Feel free to try something else.
I think an anonymous voting system is best, however the fact that non subscribers cannot down vote makes this a bias survey.
I have no problem with only subscribers voting. We have 107 upvotes on the official Fire Mack Brown thread so what is the purpose of this one. I read the comments of others who called him a upvote troll- which caused me to think about what he was doing. Just for the record I did not vote on this but I do not believe that Mack should be fired. I do believe that if we lose big to KSU he should be allowed to resign with dignity. If he does not- then he needs to go by whatever means.
Can non-subscribers upvote but not down vote? If so, this is indeed not a fair survey. Would have to repeat with subscribers only.
That is correct. I can't downvote but put me down for a "no" vote
Did Ergo vote?
Did he vote. Hell he kicked the field goal for the 3
36-14 right now. Surprising.
