Statistics and demographics would strongly argue that this list is going to change dramatically by the time these kids are seniors.
No way in he'll does r
Ed Paris run a legit laser timed 4.3
He would be faster then almost every cb and currenty in the NFL.
Great prospect though.
It is rumored he ran a 4.35 somewhere. Not laser, but still damn fast for a dude his size.
The "no way he ran XXX LASER blah blah blah" line is so played out. He's really fast. That's the bottom line.
And I never said anything about "laser". Most HS 40 times, and 40 times in general, aren't run with a laser.
You know whats lamer than a "no way he ran a 4.3 time" is actually posting a sophomore or junior in high school ran a 4.3.
It's so ridiculous that it should be outlawed.
There are a few who can.. Trey Williams and Daje Johnson..
Brenhams next star Darrion Johnson Class of 2014
No. Hand timed with a slow start time sure. Electronically timed (the only real time that matters) no way,
Both ran a laser timed 4.3 over the summer at the opening.
Daje Johnson ran 4.34 and Trey Williams ran 4.37 at "The Opening" last year.
Landon Collins came to Nikes elite camp The Opening well-known as one of the top athletes in the nation. Wednesday he proved it, taking home the crown from the testing day.

7 out of 200+ nfl combine participants ran a sub 4.4 forty yard dash. Who knew 2 high school seniors could best them.
You're probably right. Despite using the same exact technologies that are used record times at the NFL combine, I'm sure they somehow managed to muck these kids times. Actually, now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure they only had to run 35 yards. Those sneaky little bastards.
Why do folks continue to argue about forty times? They mean absolutely nothing to 95% of the plays in a football game.
"I've heard some of our fans say, 'We were always an SEC school. We just didn't know it," athletic director Bill Byrne said.
Some ppl are fast.. Lebron went from high school star to avging 21pts in the NBA in 6mths time... So I'm pretty sure he was good enough to play in the NBA his senior year. You have kids like that.. There is a kid from florida who I'm sure can line up and beat every nfl skill player in the 100m dash..
1. I never said shit about a laser time.
2. A 4.35 hand timed 40 would probably equal anywhere from a 4.45-4.5 electronic 40. How many dudes do that at the combine?
3. The point is that the kid is really fast and athletic at his size. I don't usually put much stock into a kid's reported 40 times but you also don't see many claim sub 4.4 when they know they can't come close to backing it up.
Well actually 3 because the article says Corey Coleman ran a 4.32 for the fastest time at the event
It's statistically normal to have random states pop up with a few of the top guys in the country from year to year.
It should happen.
