Looking like a potentially good class early...
Plano West 6-2, 200-pound RB/Ath Soso Jamabo has 1,113 yards and 11 TD's on 141 carries, and 15 receptions for 387 yards and four scores entering the 5A playoffs.
Rockwall's Chris Warren is headed for DE/OLB long term, but the 6-foot-2.5, 210-215-pounder rushed for 1,059 yards and 13 TD's on 174 carries, and caught 10 passes for 100 yards and 2 TD's this season. Baylor has verbally offered.
Mansfield's Julius Lewis (5-10, 170) posted 116 carries for 1,028 yards and 12's entering the 5A playoffs.

2015 QB Kyler Murray, son of former Texas A&M QB Kevin Murray, is having a productive season for Allen...
The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder has completed 93 of 136 passes (4 INT's) for 1,201yards and 8 TD's, along with 91 carries for 737 yard and 14 TD's.
2016 (freshman) QB Bowman Sells of Lucas Lovejoy has completed 135 of 212 passes (6 INT's) for 2,223 yards and 24 TD's.
The lefty has been more than impressive in 2012.
Also, The Colony 2014 RB Bryan Hammond turned in a productive 2012 season with 233 carries for 1,555 yards and 14 TD's.
Just always have to watch every guy because the state produces late bloomer prospects such as Ke'aun Kinner (Little Elm) on a yearly basis.
You think Jamabo stays at RB long term?
Big kid already as a sophomore, looked to be pretty elusive and has soft hands so receiver/TE could be a landing spot.
With a name like Lovejoy, consider me sold! What are his measurables? Great numbers for a frosh...
2014 Ath. Terence Williams of Ennis also had a big year with 185 carries for 1,174 yards and 14 TD's, as well as
nine receptions for 286 yards and four scores entering the 4A playoffs.
No likely. Just a big time athlete recruit most likely. Could see him on either side of the ball.
Tristan Houston at North Shore has 52 carries for 688 yards (13.2 ypc) and 11 TDs. Seems like you'd want to get him the ball more. Third on the team in carries. How big is this lad?
Jordan Stevenson at Skyline has 71 carries for 698 yards (9.8 ypc) and 8 TDs. Explosive speed. Probably ends up at Oregon if Chip is still around.
Twayne Blackwell out of Frisco will be an interesting Ath./RB prospect in 2015 - potentially. Played QB as a sophomore on a 1-9 Frisco Heritage team.
He completed 123 of 219 passes for 1,093 yards and 5 TD's against 7 INT's, and rushed for 875 yards and 10 TD's on 187 carries.
He's 5-9/5-9.5, 175'ish right now.
Rodney Anderson at Katy has 59 carries for 570 yards (9.7 ypc) and 11 TDs. Severely reduced role now that Adam Taylor is healthy. Anderson appears to be an Alabama lock if they offer.
Patrick Carr from The Woodlands has 156 carries for 1457 yards (9.3 ypc) and 16 TDs. Measurables?
We have no shot at any of these guys. Unless...
I'd offer every 2016 prospect right now.
9 and 4 at Texas sucks!

Gerry, I'd like to add a 2018 QB, Zaddy Dinkelmann from Somerset. He's the grandson of Sonny Detmer, he's already 6'2" in the 7th grade and he throws the tightest spiral I've ever seen from a young kid. His grandfather on his father's side played for the Springboks, an elite South African rugby team.
Awesome info. Thanks!!!
Gerry how many 2015 prospect do you expect Texas to offer in February?
Not to be an ass but they are actually the South African national rugby team.
North Shore staff loves Houston. Think they are just bringing him along slowly. Was about 170-172-pounds at a spring track meet when I saw him.
Still need to do more homework as the season concludes. I think there are always 10-12 no brainer offer kids early in every class.
Jamabo has that many yards splitting carries with another pretty good back and also missed a game due to injury.
Patrick Carr - could be BIG time. 5-9/5-10, 175-180.
I watched his HUDL highlights after posting that, and he has that angle beater speed. Doesn't look that big though, so that's surprising. Also appears as though he was shut down against Katy, but I'd imagine as a whole The Woodlands were just over-matched.
If you're looking for a RB in the 2015 class RJ Williams III is apart of the discussion.
Rawleigh Williams is definitely one of the best in 2015, agree.
Thanks fore the clarification. I plead ignorance of all things South African
