I just read where 4 star OL Austin Golson decommitted from FSU and got to wondering. Is it just me or are there record numbers of committed kids changing their minds this year?

That and social media, and the volatility in coaching IMO.
As recruiting continues to get earlier and earlier, and prospect can create the social media drama (and committed prospects see the attention uncommitted prospects receive in this manner)...I think it heads more and more in that direction.

As it gets more and more like this, I think we may see more 5 star busts. With social media and ESPN creating these mega stars that still need to get fitted for their prom tuxes, it sets up for a long fall when they get on campus.

Starting to feel like the 80s when the majority of players signed during their last season or around signing day except these will be decommitments or soft commitments.
