Just happen to be passing through and I noticed Texas landed another great player. Being a Nebraska fan I wish my Huskers would schedule some non conference games against Texas. I miss that rivalry.

I just defended the young man on the aggy site so i am sure i will be downvoted to a one star bye morning.They now say he is to slow for the sec now that he has commited to us.LOL

I agree,Im 45 and always enjoyed playing big red.There is somthing to be said about the schools that have always been relevent with history and tradition i,e Ohio State,Michigon,USC,Notre Dame,Penn state etc.....not the johnny come latelys like florida boise etc...and it doesnt hurt that we have owned the series.

It will be interesting to compare the careers of DGB & Jake Oliver as I'm not sure we would have gotten Oliver if DGB had committed to us earlier this month. Not sour grapes because I would have loved to have landed DGB due to his freak athleticism & size combo; but after watching the Army All American game, I was a bit worried about his hands. I have no such worries about Oliver's ability to catch the ball.

Allen, I get the feeling that Oliver was headed to Texas regardless of who else is on campus. He believes enough in his own ability and Texas is where he wants to be.

FYI, this thread has moved up to No. 2 all-time on Hookem for most up-voted topic. It trails just Texas naming a starter for the UCLA game.
It appears people are excited about this Oliver guy.
