It has nothing to do with a rethink. It has to do with buzz and with winning.
Akina is the only exception because he puts DBS in the nfl and everyone knows that.
Now as I say that, I will concede that Davis and Giles are not exactly known as great recruiters. Still...winning helps

It would surprising, but not shocking if we don't lead for Alaka anymore. The problem is the stupid decision to not offer him while at JD. There's a good chance he never takes the aggy JD visit if we played this one correctly. He was a no brainer offer, and yet we somehow decided not to offer.
It is what it is.
It would be nice to hear from Alaka himself at some point however.

Im not sure we lead for Olaka either. I think its about even.
My gut tells me that Olaka ends up at Texas. Not sure though.
Definitely a better fit at Texas.

People's inability to read an article, and then correctly comprehend what they read is astounding. Nowhere in that article does he state a&m is his leader. Pointing out that a&m is in the mix and claiming they're his leader are two drastically different things.

I can comprehend just fine. I was reading between the lines. Of course the writer didn't come out and say the exact words "A&M leads".

Agree with the first point.
Akina is not th only staffer with proteges in the pros. Davis has several DTs he coached at Alabama on NFL rosters right now, and Giles has Robison, Orakpo, and will have Okafor. Davis was a key in recruiting the 2 JUCOs we got from Mississippi last year, as well as in luring Shiro Davis away from LSU. Giles was a key part of holding the 2011 recruiting class together after the staff turnover, although Applwhite's worshippers gave him all the credit for that.

Kids love Giles. He needs a guy like Muschamp to hold his feet to the fire though. Diaz isn't doing that, nor does he have the voice (non pun intended) to even think about doing that. Practice what you preach.

Yeah, but the writer did do that exact thing when he discussed an earlier prospect. Odd he'd suddenly become coy with his wording when he had no problem stating that A&M leads for another prospect.
