Jack, I hear what you're saying, but in 2005 UT signed a player outside the top 50. I believe he was # 53 that year. You've probably heard of him.
His name was Colt McCoy and he turned out to be a pretty decent player. Just saying, there are some great players outside the top 20.
Let's trust Mack and the other coaches as their evaluations may be better than the ranking services. Yes we're spoiled, we are Texas!
