But just as bad if ND and an SEC team plays in the BCS Championship........IMHO

Bama will face Georgia in the SEC CCG, and I think Georgia could easily take them out. IMO it very well could be ND-Georgia in the MNC. That's provided ND gets by USC.

I'd be okay with Georgia in the CG, so long as its not against another SEC team

Unlikley. UF needs to beat FSU on the road and SC needs to beat ND for that to be possible. I don't think both occur.

    Agree. Don't think either occur.

    ND over USC without Barkley.

FSU at home over Florida without Driskel to grind, grind, grind it out on the ground with the RB and QB run game.

I'm on the other side, I think Alabama will be all over them. Georgia's OL, due to inexperience at key spots, is their weakness on O, and teams have run it on Georgia this year. I would take big game experience/success in that one too with all the pressure on the line.

Sure looks like Notre Dame v. Alabama, but who knows.

Boy how much could that bad loss to NCST hurt FSU?

Doesn't UGA have John Theus starting at right tackle?

Bad loss, and it was a killer - for now.

There are a few scenarios in which FSU could still find their way to the NC game IMO.

For whatever reason, I don't think we saw Alabama at their best against either LSU or A&M. Don't expect future opponents to be that fortunate. I'll take a rested, Nick Saban-prepared team over anybody in college football right now.

Where I come out as well.

Edit: Although if Barkley is healthy I could see USC beating ND.

Yep. Part of that equation I was referring to.

Here is hoping that GT exposes UGA again, UGA exposes Alabama again, FSU exposes UF again, Clemson exposes SC again, Missou pulls a Baylor/KSU scenario on aggy and Arkansas rises from the dead to knock off LSU. The SEC is the most overrated pile of crap this year in football history. The SEC will get exposed in bowl games this year big time.

Every SEC team has played them had problems with an Ole Miss team that a lousy UT team blew out in their place.

  • InsightTexas I agree that everything you said is very possible except Mo beating Aggie. Missouri isn't that good. I was about to post how over-rated the SEC is and has been.

Think about it. LSU's NC's just so happened when they had home field advantage in the Super Dome, first under Satan and again under Miles. Then, Bama wins their long coveted trophy only because Colt goes down. It was looking pretty bad for Bama until MacWhorter's lack of OL recruiting caught up with us. Marcel Darius should have been blocked but our soft OL whiffed. None of those 2009 guys would make our starting lineup.

Then, Auburn spends $180,000 and buys themselves a trophy. Bama was actually the better team that year. LSU was lucky to have the home field twice for the NC, Bama was fortunate that Colt got knocked out. We got the double whammy by losing the NC we should have won, plus Colt being out ushered in the the cornation of Garrett Gilbert as the next great thing at QB.
The SEC is so over rated it's mind boggling. It's obvious why their defenses look so awesome.

  • The only thing I know is that I will root for the tying Irsh to lose their next two games. Even then ESPN will probably call them National Champs.
