The real danger is that enough of these "hoax" calls are going to come in that people are going to start letting their guard down. That's when shit will get real.

I've said for years that these type of calls would be the easiest way for the terrorists and other wackos to cause tons of chaos without any weapons, bombs, etc. If they ever to do plant explosives somewhere are they really going to call it in so everyone can clear out? I doubt it.

My sick and twisted mind thinks that one of these days some terrorist group is going to call in a bomb threat. Then blow up where the evacuated have gathered. I hope it never happens.

Completely OT. My VTAC combat carbine is the finest weapon I've ever owned. I much prefer it to the LWRC M-6 it replaced. Noveske makes good stuff.

Hello, student at LSU here. I can say that that no one was hurt in the evacuation and that the sudents are now back in their on campus dorms and apartments and that one cafeteria is open. And all other buildings have been cleared, school will continue as secheduled tomorrow.

My thoughts exactly, these sort of hoaxes cause undo pressure to the potential victims... Heck, our mascot "Mike" was put in his trailor and taken to the Baton Rouge Zoo... On a lighter note it did provide this video of our RB Alfred Blue, now injured trying to evacuate on a golf cart:
