"Mack Brown’s first choice for offensive coordinator, I am told by two sources, was Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Charlie Weis, and the Texas head coach all but considered it a done deal that the former Notre Dame head coach would join his staff in Austin."

Would've been a good hire imo. Since he's not going to be sniffing any head coaching jobs, he provides stability. Remember our revolving door of defensive coordinators? We could have it on both sides of the ball now since we'd loaded with up and comers.

Gosh the thought of Jeff Fisher coaching the Texans or Cowboys is sickening.
Not a big fan of Weis but lets see how he does with Florida's talent.

I like our coaching staff the way it turned out. I think Florida is going to implode. We will see.

At the end of the day, I am thrilled that we got Harsin. When I saw Boise State play Utah on Dec 22, my first choice was Bryan Harsin.
